Ismenian Dragons (NAPD Legal)

CowboyTintin 216

In keeping with the Alien movie franchise's formula, I have named this, the second version of the Ismenian Dragon deck, Ismenian Dragons.

This deck closer embodies what I've wanted 'my' Titan deck to be... Force nasty scoring windows, surgically pick holes in a runner's rig, and always threaten the Scorch.

The quick run-down:

Enforcer 1.0: Put in back in because of Ryon Knight. Basically, lots of runners will click through Enforcer. Now, if you do, I still brain damage you. That's what we call a Cadmean Victory... You get an... access? 1 point agenda? ... and I inflict my brain damage. False Lead is in here too... so if the Enforcer 1.0 doesn't hit, or the runner actually pays through it, their brain still sizzles.

As usual, I've included Government Takeover. For some reason this thing is probably my favorite Weyland agenda... it's big enough to allow you to do wired things with your agenda spread, and with a little care and technique you can usually keep runners from getting at it. Bad luck will get you here, but, if you're careful you can mitigate that to a very small chance. That's why we've got Old Hollywood Grid. For me this is an auto-include if I've got Government Takeover, as well as Jackson Howard. Shuffle it into your R/D. Keep it in your hand. Believe it or not, I've even slow advanced it... If you do it right it looks like a trap, and people seem to never expect it enough to run on a 6 or 7 advanced card in a remote! You've also got a Punitive Counterstrike, just in case. Atlas it, or draw into it with some luck...

Will-o'-the-Wisp. This is basically another window forcer... Let them get in, then surgically remove they're tool for doing so. Then install the real deal, advance, and score.

This deck isn't without problems... There isn't a strong enough econ engine. It needs a bit more money. Also, the agenda spread isn't quite right yet... I've ran into the problem where I have the windows, but don't have anything more than 1-pointers. That's a bit silly.

That being said, I have a third installment in the Ismenian Dragon franchise on the way. Hopefully that will be better than Alien 3.
