Next Step: Edinburgh Intercity 2016

Another boring ETF deck. Not MWL compliant but easy enough to make so (Wraparounds -> Wall of Static or something, 1 Architect -> Ichi).

Went 5-0 at Edinburgh Intercity 2016 (against Whizzard, Sunny, Stealth Andromeda, Siphon MaxX, Pre-paid Kate) and 2-1 at a smaller store tourny the next day (wins against Nexus Reina and Sunny, loss against Good-Stuff Whizzard).

A well piloted Whizzard with enough parasite can tear it apart, though the match-up isn't quite as bad as it looks (I would have wrecked the one I played if I'd won the Batty psi game). Still, if there's a lot of that around, standard ice suite and Batty -> 2nd Caprice is the better choice.

Have you considered changing the ID to The Foundry: Refining the Process? Seems like it would help boost all the ICE faster.

Foundry definitely has its advantages. As you say, it can pump out the ice faster, boosting NEXT, and it also makes the ABTs a bit safer (I lost 6 points in 1 game to 2 failed ABTs, though each had 0 ice so Foundry wouldn't have helped, still somehow won). Though saying that, Foundry only pulls ice on res, and most runners will be pretty stingy in their letting me res ice as soon as they realise I'm packing NEXT. You can definitely take advantage of that reluctance, but that works better in more of a rush deck. You can also slot Boot Camp to help out, but again I feel like that's a different deck.

The main reason though is that I like the economy of ETF too much, especially if they end up trashing a lot of your campaigns.
