Inspired by this article I decided to build a deck which threatens to win from hand after rushing two 2pt agendas first.

Gameplan:

  • rush Efficiency Committee as soon as possible behind two different cheap ETR ice
  • score a quick 2 pointer
  • score a 3 pointer from hand (install, advance, take EC tokens, 2xShipment from SanSan)

I played only 3 games with this deck, but won all of them - exactly in a way described above. Jacksons and Anonymous Tips are to make sure you get the cards you need when you need them.

at BGG (take that as you will) Weve been discussing 25-26 pieces of ice to give you, i believe, an 80% chance of 3 ice on your opening hand. The draw from GLC and Anonymous tip is nice, but do you need it? Are you able to hold out as midgame transitions with the ice package you are using?

Just played 2 more games and once I mulled 2 ice opening hand into 1 ice hand. So I guess I need some more ice after all. I'm leaning to dropping melange and GLC for 4 more ice.

I reasoned I need as much draw as possible to make sure I grab my EC copy before its too late.

Are you able to hold out as midgame transitions with the ice package you are using?

Nope and this deck does not intend to hold. Sometimes it is possible to extend the midgame with a well timed sentry, but generally when the runner is all set up I only FA agendas with EC/SFS. EC allows to FA one 5/3 agenda or three 3/2 agendas so there is some flexibility here.

Curiosity: one of the games I won was on turn 7 with 30 cards left in my R&D, but that was a really great draw order.
