What are the current thoughts for MWL?

(FWIW, I've been testing this with -3 Desperado and +3 Doppelganger. That's not an experiment I will be continuing)

@unitled Plan for MWL is to test Mongoose as a Mimic replacement. If it's viable I'll drop from Gordian Blade to ZU.13 Key Master and also drop the Yog.0 to free up inf to keep 3 Desperado.

If Mongoose doesn't pan out I dunno what I'll do!

It's a reach, but there could be an interaction between the pretty much never used Unscheduled Maintenance, Forged Activation Orders, and Mongoose. In concert with Leela's bouncing ability, that could help prevent stacked sentries.

You get quality accesses on the central runs with the hardware interfaces, and plenty of cash to pay for them. Why not go Breach? Saves influence for Yog.0/Desperado and you're likely to be hammering centrals anyway for Sucker tokens. FAO/Leela Bounce/Unscheduled Maintenance remotes so Inside Job remains a threat, though you're probably looking at running Same Old Thing in that case.

I know he's a duplicitous bastard, but John Masanori works so well for aggression decks.

I can't necessarily speak for @angedelo, but I know he tested a lot against my SYNC deck leading up to the two tournaments and that may have lead him to cut Masanori for something less risky! Hitting a Data Raven with him out against SYNC is sad times.

If tagshenanigans (good band name) are popular in the meta, yeah. With the econ this build is running putting up Earthrise Hotel shouldn't be too painful.
