3rd Place Element Games Store Champ - Blue Sun Force of Will

This is the deck I took to Element Games Store Championship in Stockport, UK. It took me to first after swiss, and 3rd in double elimination. Along with my undefeated Whizzard deck; http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/31372/3rd-place-element-games-store-champ-whizzard-ice-hate-pre-

I went undefeated in swiss. Scoring out against a Whizzard, a 0-0 timed draw (after 40 minutes!) against a Gabe, Kill against a Val, and Kill against the Professor.

In top-8, it lost to eventual winner, timed loss against multithreader/toolbox Hayley, killed Leela, and got destroyed against Apoc Maxx after terrible muligan and an awful choice to put my one ICE over RnD rather than HQ (why you'd do that in a deck with only 6 agenda, I do not know!).

It's a direct copy of the Force of Will Blue Sun deck, I put it together the day before as I disliked my Harp deck and HB:ETF (played both for so long that the failures of both irk me).

Whilst it is a good deck, it has MAJOR flaws that you can get around if you know how. First is econ. Just have more money, I haven't sat down to work out how much, but just keep loads (and remember they can bounce). KILL Jackson, This is ultimate, Jackson enables the combo, without it, it's very hard to kill (especially with 5 cards and a plascrete). It's also very slow, so if you can score 3-points, you may be able to take it to timed win without a worry.

But even if your opp doesn't play it that well, it's still hard to win with this deck. There is so many pieces, and ways to kill, that you don't have enough hand-space to keep them all. And sometimes you need pieces in a place they're not (i.e. having scorch in hand stops you being able to combo for 12, but discarding them stops you being able to take advantage of a floated tag). Also, only 1 SEA Source, which you usually need from hand, means its rarely there when you need it.

Was fun to play once, don't recommend it (at least without changes).

They aren't flaws. They are features. It's not hard to win with the right mindset. I always keep 1 Scorch in hand and 1 Punitive in the off chance that floated tag comes around. Furthermore, its rare for me to score agendas to win with the deck since I'd rather draw out the kill. But good on you for the GNK.
