Mutate RP

Sysp 1259

Heritage Committee seems like a very interesting card in general for RP, potentially replacing DBS or Fast Track in the speedier builds. So why not combo it up a bit and get some Mutate + Committee on to upgrade your early stoppers that you are already playing in RP?

Quandary is played over Pup and Yagura since I'm sick and tired of getting Siphoned turn 1. Prime upgrade target for Mutate.

Clone Retirement for Archer obviously which is very taxing vs most decks. Don't be afraid to rez suprise Archers with your empty Nisei if opportunity knocks, you can score out easier on 6p with Clone Retirements.

Ashigaru gets play over Tollbooth / Susanoo etc since d4v1d and Fausts are everywhere currently, it's very reliable tax / stopping at the moment (barring big Parasites).

Rest of the deck is mostly RP doing RP stuff.

Feedback appreciated!

I don't play RP enough to know whether Mental Health Clinic is better than Pad Campaigns forcing the runner to run twice and pay 4 credits to keep you from having trickle economy...I just hate giving the runner money and pad campaigns give you more asset targets for the runner to waste time and money on... Other than that one possible tweak, I dig the deck... going to give it a try.

Oops, disregard my comment I was thinking Medical research fundraiser.... I guess since the kill option isn't really the idea of the deck, letting the runner have increased hand size is totally fine. Nothing to see here... move along.

I think this is pretty solid. The non-mutate list is probably still stronger and more reliable, but for a gnk or casual evening, this is perfect. One thing I immediatly noticed is the lack of Batty. Now deckspace has probably a lot to do with it and I don't run batty in my RP as well, but with 3 archer and one swordsman, Batty could do some work here and is probably worth a one of two of.

@duckage: Throughly disregarded. ;)

@mcpba: Yeah, it's probably less consistent by design than the traditional RP lists but there is something there. Doubt that this is the final form (as in most optimal) of the Mutate RP list.

Batty is a cool option, I'm gonna try slotting one and see how he fits. Likely cutting a Clinic for him.
