Sunny Goes to the Flea Market 1.17 (3rd place 13p GNK)

Sabin76 34

Based off of HiggsBozo's Halloween Party with the notable exception of Faust. I didn't like it because there are rarely cards that I would rather not install, and I figured that 6 influence was better spent elsewhere (also, consequently, the reason I only have 2 Peddlers and threw in an Employee Strike last minute)...

Took 3rd at a 13 person GNK with this (3:2 in Swiss, 1:1 after the cut) and IG (3:1 in swiss, 0:1 after the cut).

Dropped a game to RP when I couldn't find my answers fast enough. Bad play on my part, not a bad deck. This deck usually beats RP without a sweat.

Dropped the other 2 games against the same NEHFA deck. The Source couldn't stop him from dropping a BN on a SanSan to train the rest. Both games I took a Palooza before getting trounced. I don't remember having so much trouble with NEHFA, so I think I either got outplayed or it was a fluke. The deck certainly had enough ammunition to fight it off, so I'm not going to say it was a bad MU.

The first changes I made to the deck after the tournament were to stick closer to the Halloween party build. I'll be honest and say that I didn't give Faust a chance in this deck and it seems to be pulling its weight for those that brought it to Tournaments. Datasucker didn't do me any good, but I was also reluctant to use Jak to hit archives for a token when assets needed to get run and trashed.

How 'bout some Multithreaders for helping out your rig? Sunny's breakers so ineffective, especially when you run them all... :(

@DrMarodi Used to have em, but cut them because the setup time was outrageous. In a slower, more "unstoppable-rig" build they work really well, but not when you are trying to go as fast as possible.

I try to hold off installing breakers as long as possible. Once the Nexus is down I can face check with impunity (only need 2 credits and a click, or just 2 credits with NACH up) to make the corp waste their money rezzing everything.
