Near Earth Jinteki - 1st Fantasia SC Umeå

This deck went 3-1 in a small SC(9 ppl) in the cold, desolate north of Sweden.

Same applies here as to my runner deck: I'm not going to sit here trying to tell you that this is the new hidden le gem of T1 decks, because it's really not. I just chose to play this because I found it fun to play!

This deck is really all over the place, very sensitive to scouting and plays a lot on the element of suprise.

Installing and double-advancing a Junebug is situationally very strong, especially when you have an Astro-token, since you can use the token at 4.3.

The general hope(!) with this deck is putting out some traps, thus making the runner vary about running your remotes, hopefully allowing you to score out your first Astro or neveradvancing a Breaking News to Scorched if the runner misjudged the deck as a pure FA.

I did something similar for a Store Championship and I loved it, it was great fun splashing Red in Yellow. Well done on your victory :)

@chex I'd suggest swapping Targeted Marketing for Manhunt. Targeted can be circumvented, whereas Manhunt is a constant trace assault that supports some of your Operations. On reflection, you probably need it for econ support, but do you find that it pays off?

Thanks, that's a good point. Targeted Marketing seldom pays off since I suck at judging archetypes and it's so easy to play around. I was anticipating some Chameleon action when I threw that in there.

@chex Haha, what a misjudgement. If i recall correctly there was exactly 0 Chameleon-decks :P
