"Ladies and gentlemen of the board, I trust you are all familiar with the Project Management Triangle?"

"Yes, Mr. Jones. We all have MBAs from very prestigious schools. We are intimately acquainted with the notions of schedule, scope and cost. Please, get to the point."

"Then you must also know that in every project two sides of the triangle invariably thrive at the detriment of the third. So I ask you, Ms. Mills, which two are most important to you: fast, good or cheap?"

"Fast and good, Mr. Jones. Fast and good."

This deck hasn't won any tournaments, but it has turned a few heads at my local game store.

It starts out the same as any other Blue Sun deck: Oversight AI on large ICE, bounce that ICE back to hand for a huge profit, Restructure. Where it differs from the traditional Punitive Counterstrike builds is that it uses those credits to fast advance public agendas via Mumbad Construction Co instead of flatlining the runner.

While Dedication Ceremony could technically be used on any of the public agendas directly, the better target is actually Mumbad Construction Co.

An ideal turn looks something like this:

  1. Bounce Curtain Wall and gain 14
  2. : Restructure
  3. : Dedication Ceremony on a Mumbad Construction Co that already has 2 advancement counters on it.
  4. : Install Hollywood Renovation
  5. 10: Move 5 advancement tokens from Mumbad Construction Co to Hollywood Renovation
  6. Score Hollywood Renovation

The timing is such that the runner doesn't have a window to cheat Clot into play after you install your agenda as long as you only advance it using Mumbad Construction Co. The corp player has priority following the installation so you can use Mumbad Construction Co as many times as you want before you pass priority to the runner.

An alternative fast advance tactic is to ramp up Hollywood Renovation in a glacier remote then over advance it to score New Construction or Oaktown Renovation out of hand but this method is susceptible to Clot.

I dig it. You could think about dropping one of the Executive Boot Camp to add a beefier sentry like Assassin, since you need a secure server to hold Mumbad Construction Co.. Also, hope your opponent can't recur clot 7 times ;)

One Assassin might be nice. It's a decent Blue Sun target too.

Yeah, cheating in Clot at the start of the corp turn is pretty problematic, as you've proven. In most games, I'm cool with purging and letting Mumbad Construction Co and Expo Grid keep ticking. But having to get rid of Clot 7 times in a single game is pretty bonkers! I wouldn't mind never having to do that again.
