Passive Aggressive Agenda Punishment

CactusJack 117

Ever wonder what was like to let the Corp walk all over you, and then punish them for it? Did that just sound weird?

So, what's the idea here? Get out your Logos+Gang Sign+Spoilers as quickly as possible, then laugh maniacally as the Corp tries to score agendas! MUAHAHAHAHA!

The only issue I've ran into is reliably getting s. The engine is built around the old Desperado+John Masanori+Security Testing combo, and its lack of Desperado hurts, but Iain's lack of influence just doesn't have the room for it. However, his natural ability +Film Critic can help.

Data Dealer is there to deal with News Team, Shi.Kyu, and any other pesky agenda.

Seems like the supplier would be a good add. Maybe -1 masnori -1 IJ -2 sec testing +2 hostage +1 kati jones +1 supplier or something like that.

@x3r0h0ur Thanks for the suggestions! That could work well, I'll test it as soon as I can. BTW, I just watched your Test Run of College Spirit with CodeMarvelous, good stuff!

@x3r0h0urI've tested your suggestions in a few games on Jinkteki, and wow, what a difference! It is absolutely crazy using Hostage to grab The Supplier in the early game, and then have it start reducing the cost of all the necessary cards right away! Thanks again!

Glad you liked it. I'm on geist competitively now, so it was a good video to do.

Glad the changes worked, supplier is generally good for less aggressive styles that like to build to a control-type board state, which this seems to want to do. I'm concerned about your draw though, squeezing in 3 earth rise would do you wonders for setup and midgame time. I wonder, if since you're not running a lot, is bank job really necessary? Or maybe just cut the dirty laundries for it, so you can find your bank jobs and siphons as needed, but also find food for the suppliers.

Just some thoughts.

@x3r0h0urI've been playing this deck for a while now, and I see what you mean about the card draw. I've tried swapping out Dirty Laundry for Earthrise Hotel, and now I'm trying Earthrise Hotel for Bank Job.

I think I've found a good balance. -3 Dirty Launder, -3 Bank Job, +3 Earthrise Hotel, and +3 Armitage Codebusting.

Click based economy isn't ideal, but as x3r0h0ur pointed out, this deck doesn't run as much as other decks which means Armitage Codebusting works OK.

With Bio-Ethics out there, and kill decks still popular, switching out 1 HQ Interface for 1 Plascrete Carapace may be good. Sadly all of the cards that prevent net damage are in Shaper, so either 1 Spoiler or 1 Film Critic would need to be swapped out.
