LLizarDS v2

Kaos64 116

This started out as a janky deck thrown together for a fun tournament at the end of last year. It did so well I dragged it to 4 store championships since finishing 4th, 2nd, 2nd and 1st. It has gone 17 wins and 5 losses over the course of those 4 tournaments.

Game plan is make lots of money, bounce Lizards around and break everything strength 3 + LLDS for cheap.

Pro Co because Hayley likes money and cards, personal workshop so you can actually use Hayley's ability the same turn you sell a harbinger as well as for banking clicks to use in a later turn (this is a click intensive deck). D4v1d to break the super big things Chameleons and LLDS to break everything else. Inti because wraparound is a bastard.

Blue Sun is a tough matchup for this deck and is the reason why test run hasn't been cut since you want to maximise your D4v1d counters. If you suspect that Jinteki PE is more common in your meta take Feedback Filter instead.

So good! Hard to push early against because of typical shaper capabilities, but it seems to be curtains if you leave it too late to score.

Have you considered Crescentus? It's pretty good vs Blue Sun.

@0sum I hadn't considered it. The problem against blue sun is that there's a hard limit on the number of times you can break some of their ice since D4v1d is the decks answer. Adding Crescentus doesn't solve that problem and puts even more pressure on the clone chips.

I run 2 Janus 1.0 in my Blue Sun build. I don't necessarily see a way you can get through that. Maybe Femme Fatale, but the bypass only works once and the Sentry-breaking aspect is just far too expensive to be reliable. Try running e3 Feedback Implants as well to give D4v1d much more usage. Also, it seems like your hardware is imperative to the quality of your play style, so maybe run 1 Tyson Observatory to consistently get those processors. Just my two-cents. I really like the build! I'm going to have fun tinkering with Harbinger + Pawnshop (Chop Bot?) in the future.

@MystRChaos Janus would be a problem for the deck. Thankfully I didn't see any in the 4 tournaments I played in. Orion was a pain in the backside though. The deck is tuned to crush foodcoats/RP mostly and to also have a decent match up with NBN and it does that job pretty well.

E3 would be pretty interesting addition. I also considered Net Ready Eyes which would act as a 4th LLDS. I did have Tyson in one of the earliest iterations of the deck however I found I didn't need it. You can generally start applying pressure once you have the 1st LLDS and an SMC.
