Digi-paint me like one of your french cyborg-girls! v1.2

Rielle "Kit" Peddler can be a very aggressive Runner, but once the Corp has more levels of ICE protecting the servers, things can become difficult.

Tinkering and Paintbrush can basically allow you to keep going with only a Decoder, and Torch seems the better option to save a ton of money in the long run.

Omega can break anything in the innermost level and while it might get expensive, it means that even with just 2 Icebreakers installed you can pass wherever you want, unless the Corp ices up to 3 levels.

To make things even easier, the chivalrous Knight comes to help the cyber-damsel in distress. And e3 can help reduce the expensiveness of breaking subroutines with Knight, or just make even easier to pass all Bioroids (well, all but one...).

Only 2 Test Run and no Scavenge, because I seem to hardly ever get both at the same time, so I'd rather pay 3 to use Torch for a turn and then install it normally (or discounted with Modded), than wait forever. Also, no Self-modifying Code because memory can easily become an issue (there's exactly the MU amount you need for everything installed at the same time).

Not much else to say. The deck worked even when there was no Paintbrush and it's surprisingly optimal, because you need very few cards installed to get going. Economy should not be an issue because the initial installation costs might be high, but after that runs should be fairly cheap.

I want to try Paintbrush too... but I'm not 100% sold on having only Torch. In particular I can't envisage a Kit deck without Cyber-Ciphers... and then it is easy to fit a Corroder and a Ninja! :D Similarly, I'm not really sold on Omega too, if only it costed a little less...

Well, Torch is basically a Cyber-Cypher for all servers, so you won't need them if you use it. The key of the deck is to work with very few programs and optimize your rig to a bare minimum; more often than not you won't have to use Knights much.

Even if I did opt for Gordian Blade just to spend a few creds less on install, I couldn't use Cyber-Cypher(s) due to memory issues. And adding extra cards to get the extra memory would only slow things down.

Although Torch is usually better. With Paintbrush i think Gordian Blade is best. Since it gets +strength for the whole run. Usually it is not very relevant but with paintbrush it is. I guess it depends what you think what ice you will encounter.

Well, there's really few pieces of ICE above STR 5, though.

Let's say you meet one with STR 5 first: you'd have to pay 3 credits with Gordian Blade to even the strength, while it would cost just 1 credit with Torch. Then GB would be "stuck" at STR 5, but if the next pieces of ICE have 4 or less, it's useless. To get back those 2 extra credits you'd need to encounter at least 2 STR 5 ICE, and even then it would just be on par with Torch.

Gordian Blade would shine only if you had to break really big pieces of ICE one after another. But if the STR is 6 or more, you might wanna go with Knight here, anyway.

I'm not really seeing how deep red could be worth it. As far as MU goes, its unlikely to ever give you more than 1 MU. It lets you instant speed install knight, which is fine, you only have 2 clone chip for the instant speed install, no SMC. Akamatsu would do the exact same job 80% of the time and free up two influence for something more powerful. Test run > Femme is great in Kit, cause it guarantee you break a two ice server.

All that said - I like the idea here. Paintbrush, omega, torch and knight is a versatile and deadly suite of breakers.

Yeah, SMC would definitely help a lot with Knight, but memory is an issue, that's why I went for Test Run even without Scavenge.

I've had more than one game with all copies of Knight installed though, which also means that those were longer than normal I guess!

Personally, I would do extra draw over Test Run. I also don't see a lot of utility for the 3x SOT in this deck, the main event you want to recur is Indexing and you don't really need five of them. I might go down to 2x SOT and add an Escher; right now you don't threaten HQ for anything beyond single accesses, and Escher can set up Indexing for you nicely.

3 copies of SOT could indeed be an exaggeration, but it's there mainly for Tinkering. The ability to play it again and again and again should really give the Corp a hard time, because with a base strength of 4 there aren't many expensive pieces of ICE around.

Escher is always a very nice card to have in a Rielle deck, though, so it could be worth the change. I might give it a try!

I don't feel like removing Test Run though... having some kind of tutor is needed to rush in the first decks, to take advantage of Rielle's ability and force the Corp into "wasting time" installing and paying for extra ICE.
