Kitschfork

Sapph0 187

This is my first published deck!

I've been looking forward to Brahman's release since it was spoiled. I had fun with other layer-oriented London Library shenanigans out of Kit in the past and ... well, I'm enjoying this now.

The dream is to have a hard-installed Brahman, and install Cy-Cy/Femme (with London Library), targeting the outside layer(s) of ice; then to run the server and bounce the outside breakers by breaking the inside ice with Brahman. It's surprisingly flexible. SMC, Cy-Cy, and Scavenge allow for early aggression.

I stole Pitchfork's econ engine - it seemed to play nicely with this click intensive, 1 run per turn breaker suite.

HQ pressure is lacking; influence sacrifices have to be made for Kit post-MWL. I chose Kit, because I <3 her and because I like the early aggression. Hayley gets set up faster and is probably better but... then I'm not playing Kit :/

Useful interactions:

Clot+Sac Con

  • give you a good chance against fast advance/CVS

LL+Scavenge

  • install anything for free, or maybe even gain tech writer creds

Optional tech:

Personal Touch

  • for Brahman, was last card slot; disposable; NRE is probably bad because it'll trash breakers from hand

Levy+Same Old Thing

  • more money/scavenges in long games; more hp in net damage matchup

Plascrete, Film Critic, Deus X

  • You probably know if they fit in your meta

I like Utopia Shard or Escher as low-influence options for getting something better out of HQ runs than single-access. A well-timed escher can do wonders for sniping agendas out of remotes with Kit.

You probably have figured it out, but just in case, Cache doesn't work with Brahman and London Lib (virus subtype).

Have you tried Test Run instead of SMC

@internet_potato Utopia shard would be pretty good here. While Escher is usually a great include for Kit, I feel like it's less powerful in this particular deck. Whether it's bypassing ice w/femme, breaking something with a 4str AI, or breaking outside ice with a Cy-Cy, it usually doesn't really matter what configuration the ice is in. There are niche situations though where it would still be quite good.

@Lupus Yonderboi Yep, it works well with aesop's and tech-writer though, potentially providing a lot more than a sure gamble for the card slot/click, so I decided to keep it. There's probably something else one could do with that influence, but it would require a lot of tweaking. I'm definitely still experimenting with it ^.^

@Teppichopfer I have. I cut it because I was struggling for card slots and I thought SMC was more important for threatening clot and finding cyber-cyphers early in the game.
