Jasminder: Activist with a nice bike

mega0live 2

Something I threw together at work, and for once I found it enjoyable and playable unlike most of my other lunchtime decks.

Qianju doesn't combo with Jesminder's ability.

Jesminder doesn't negate Activist Supports tag, and Quianju PT will only negate that tag if you don't take any tags during your turn, even if Jes would have negated them.

As such, there are no cards in this deck that trigger Jes's ability, so I don't really get why this wouldn't be better out of Hayley or Kate.

@Protégé @Quarg I mainly play with just a couple of close friends and at a local hobby shop that does not host tournaments. I like the ID and thought of a silly way to use Qianju PT, that is all. You are free to throw some ideas my way or use and edit the deck in anyway you would like.

@mega0live Just as long as you know how Jesminder's ability and Qianju PT interact. Which is to say, not very much (as @Quarg spelled out). You should definitely use Jesminder if you like having the ability anyway, but you might be better off with another Shaper ID.

I'd especially have my eyes on Hayley, particularly if you had some shenanigans that allowed you to play a Resource on your opponent's turn (DaVinci, Street Peddler). If you could unload a Activist Support from hand, you can give the corp a bad publicity and sell it to Aesop's Pawnshop before you ever take a tag. Potentially something to think about.

Good luck with the deck!

Gotta love Big Bad Pub decks. Perhaps you could slot in Hyperdrivers to the make playing the Investigative Journalisms less painful?

Oh yeah, more comments (your deck has lots of things that I am always toying with!). I'd definitely try to fit more Blackmails in.

An Escher would be awesome since you are running all the breakers that don't lose their strength during a run. If you get all the sentries lined up on one server, even Pipeline might not be terrible!

@Sanjay Now that is a cool idea, thanks! @cspieker Hyperdrivers were in this deck, but I could never deal with the mu, and a Escherwould work wonders, thanks for pointing me in the right way

There's a cool game that just came up recently in Stimhack with a Hayley deck of the same kind of an idea, but more weirdness going on:
