I'm intrigued with Errand Boy over Cobra and a complete lack of Orion. Would love to see the thought process behind that. Also, have you thought about Consulting Visit? And do you miss the advanceable traps? I am not remotely (pun intended) surprised to see Zealous Judge in there.

Those who haven't seen Will Brown's previous Force of Will write up should go and do so.

And also, why'd you chicken out on the Priority Requisitions? That's not like you! :P

Priority Req was beat out by The Cleaners due to Sports Hopper shenanigans. Found that its easier to land Tag with Zealous over Consulting Visit as it wouldn't be so click intensive. Cobra does not function any more than Enigma and Datapike face checks in mid to late game. Orion simply is too unwieldy to be useful to anyone until the new Weyland ID appears. In time I'll make more modifications.

Gave this a few runs online (where I feel it's naturally worse since eating a punitive turn 2 is just "whatever, new game").

How do you deal with cerebral static? Just remember it's a threat and make sure not to be in a nasty spot if they drop it so you can still score?

Played vs the "install everything" spy cam haley with triple levy. Managed to push it super long thanks to a quick hades, but from that point on it felt like it was just over. My only hope was baiting her into a snare into double judge rez (political operative) to land a tag since there was no way i was going to outecon her enough to get a punative or a sea source (especially with hoppers cycling in and out), but she basically just sat back, spy cammed, and ran advanced only.

Game ended with her having 120ish credits in pile and another 50ish on the board, and me with 80 (and it didn't help that her deck is perfect since she'll just pay through barriers with inti and atman the raven or assassin)..

Question being is there some way i'm missing to tag in that scenario, or is it just assumed you can normally close things out before they start to outecon you?

Spy Cam Haley takes some time to set up on the first pass if no technical writers/bazaar. So you have time to get a few agendas through. Since there is no multiaccess from her you can drop Snare from your grip into Heap and Reshuffle with Jackson, or play and leave on board to have them guess the Judge. Data Raven helps in a frequent run/crucial remote server as extreme tax ICE goes to Judge Remote. Currently there is no method to dealing with the spread of hardware fast enough after tagging the runner. As for Employee Strike, just handle the game as a normal corp. Take a full turn gaining credits with your Hedges and Restructures to rez and hold to Scorch/combo to finish. Judge and Raven are your tag methods regardless of how much money the Runner has.

What's the flex slot in this list? I've been testing the prior version and after making some changes, I have found a copy of Housekeeping to be absolutely bananas.

-1 Snare, -1 The Cleaners, +1 Ghost Branch, +1 Merger.

Merger will only do 2 Punitive damage now, switch to GFI? I don't think it's actually relevant. They still need 3 scores to win. I think I'd rather have the Snare back.

Do you find that dropping the advancable traps has significantly affected the deck? I always loved the 1x Junebug/Overwriter in earlier iterations of the deck as a respect check, but now if you sit there and brazenly advance a card, the runner can be a bit more sure that it's actually an agenda and not something that will kill them.

That's the thing. The Runner who is more hesitant now will know a kill deck on sight. So obviously an advanced, lightly defended server is a trap and a heavily defended Server is not.

Gotta do away with that kind of thinking and change it up where the runner will obviously either check remotes with little defense everywhere or Dig R&D and try to finish it off. That's where we gotta plan and trap accordingly.

Zealous and Snare help those plans by placing them behind some Weak ICE like Errand Boy and Fire Wall while Agendas are behind Taxing ice like Hive and Data Raven. We can keep our ultimately expensive ICE on Centrals.

Sorry for that confusion. Swap those around. Agendas behind weak ICE, Traps behind expensive ICE for protection.

However here, there is no advanceable trap. So once the Runner knows this, she can run only whenever something gets advanced?

Would you run on facedowns after hitting a Snare?
