SIR, SIR, they stole our shit!
puts down newspaper
Oh? I don't care.
BUT SIR! They came in last night, that old security gaurd showed them to the vault! That guy should get fired!
That guy? That guy is Floyd. That guy doesn't just work in the company, that guy is the company.

Argus agenda spam. That's right, I said it. Main points of this deck? Throw agendas around like they're candy. Put a few in the trash, throw some in new remotes, it really doesn't matter. The runner'll pick em up, and that's when we nab em. Either, they take a tag, and we rez a Floyd, or they take meat damage, losing valuable cards.

False Lead lead really shines in this deck. Having a runner come in, take an agenda & a tag, confident that they can dump the tag later is funny. 'Cause then BAM! no more turn! Account Siphon is particularly vulnerable to this. Traffic Accident requires 0 creds to play, so it's perfect for a follow up.

And overadvance the shit out of Oaktown Renovation. I once Back Channelled an Oaktown with 14 counters on it. Because I don't care if the runner gets the agenda from archives. Later, I'll burn down his house, it's fine.

GFI is mostly in the deck for agenda density. This deck very rarely scores out. There's only 3 agendas in this deck worth 2 points to the runner, which means that they have to steal a minimum of 4 agendas to win. It's a perfect environment for Stock Buy-Back. And the more times you can use the Argus ability, the better.

A good opening hand is either a few decent ICE, and\or false lead. You want false lead out early, so that you can abuse it at a perfect moment.

No [Profiteering]? Every Argus deck needs [Profiteering].

Good point. I'll put it in my next version.

"Because I don't care if the runner gets the agenda from archives. Later, I'll burn down his house, it's fine."

This is probably one of my favorite deck description quotes ever.

Questions:

  1. Profiteering for Underway or does underway actually pull weight?
  2. How's Checkpoint/Ireress/Muchraker working for you?
  3. Do you often land the ghost branch?

I think you're drastically overestimating the frequency the runner will end their turn with even one tag, let alone multiple ones, even with The Judge, although False Lead does help with that. Also, Checkpoint and especially Muckraker get real, real bad if you start taking all that bad publicity in the deck. You could probably drop the 'Raker and throw in a Hard Hitting News to much better effect. It combos hilariously with the Judge and the False Lead as well. Maybe a second Jackson with the extra influence, but I'll leave that one up to you.
