You'll Pay for Your Crimes!

This is a modified version of my deck using NBN: Making News. It had a lot of trace boosting cards, but nothing that really traced (except Turnpike); thus I realized I didn't to use Making News.

The concept is simple: Make it expensive to steal agendas; the execution, maybe not.

ICE up your scoring server with Tollbooth, Turnpike, and Pop-up Window, then protect your agenda with Red Herrings, Midway Station Grid, and Mumbad Virtual Tour. With Predictive Algorithm out, and a NAPD Contract in play under those conditions, the runner is looking at: 20 to steal. IF the runner still has credits left (at least 5), then they'll be forced to trash Mumbad Virtual Tour as well.

The above is 15 to rez, not including install costs. Rez carefully.

Puppet Master could be swapped out for a Utopia Fragment, and if that can get scored quickly, the runner is looking at anywhere from 0-8 additional s to steal.

....I probably did my math wrong. The above doesn't calculate in the cost to raise the strength of an ice breaker to match Tollbooth and then break it. It also doesn't account for Faust, nor does it account for anyone going: Tag Me (although that's foolish against this deck, because if you have 2 to spare, it's wise then to trash the Runner's economy).

Critique welcomed.

A "naked" NAPD Contract with only Red Herrings, Mumbad Virtual Tour, and Predictive Algorithm protecting it, raises it's steal cost to: 11, and if they have 5 left over, they're forced to trash Mumbad Virtual Tour. Just a thought.

With only 8 agendas in a 49 card deck and no agendas with on-access effects, I'm not sure Haarpsichord is the right identity. You'd be better off with NEH or CtM I think.

@FarCryFromHumanI'm not sure Haarpsichord is right either, TBH. I thought about NEH and CTM. The real requirement was whether or not I had enough influence. I'm willing to test both, but haven't yet.

I would look at Harishchandra Ent.: Where You're the Star or NBN: The World is Yours* also. I like the idea of using Near-Earth Hub: Broadcast Center, but asset spam seems really big right now and asset spam hate as well so that's not where I want to be atm.

You're ignoring Spark. If you swapped Green Levels for Adonis, you're most of the way to making it worth it, and it drains the runner further.

@Raiddinn``@npcdelI'm beginning to realize perhaps any NBN ID would work, with maybe a few tweaks. Please feel free to use this a basis for your own ideas and share how well they work.

I have used Harishchandra with this deck, but I was up against DLR Maxx, which was just a personally bad match up for me, and that didn't go well. There isn't anything in this deck that really takes advantage of the Harishchandra's ability. TWY* would require cuts, and I don't know what I'd cut. Spark, with the proposed tweaks could be good. I've made a similar deck before with Spark.
