Clone Control - Wellington Regionals 2nd

Pilgrim 189

This is the corp deck I piloted to second place at Wellington Regionals. I never dropped a game on any of my tests or in Swiss. Unfortunately it met its match when I had to play versus Whizz with Employee strike twice in the finals. It was still a close match, both times. I also played one game in Swiss versus another Whizz, employee strike was active most of the game however despite this it was still a victory (either by scorch or PsychoBeale, I cannot recall) indicating that you could have a blank ID and NBN is still powerful with only 12 influence.

The idea came from Clonetrolling the movement by RTsa which is I a super looking deck. I'd recommend checking it out and reading up on it. I changed the deck to increase the amount of tag punishment so I wasn't tied to a specific strategy. Most games were either one with a Psychographics on a Project Beale or Scorched Earth with Archived Memories.

The MVP of the deck is Clone Suffrage Movement allowing Sweeps Week or Hedge Fund to be used every turn. Hard Hitting news is superb if not to cruel. What I love about it is how taxing it is on the runner, four tags gives runners hope of removing all tags. When they finally remove them all, HHN again! Sensie Actors Union was also incredible getting the cards you need fast.

Changes I would make? I would get rid of Sandburg as I didn't use it. Then again it was great in my practice games. Astroscript program was okay but another Beale would be preferred, this is not a FA deck.

My runner deck was Apex.
