SunnySucker 3000

ransomman 321

This deck aims to shore up some of Sunny's weaknesses (imo), and helps to buff her strengths.

Her Weaknesses

  • Money

Sunny's breakers are very expensive and her "obvious" economy resources (Data Folding and Underworld Contracts) are expensive as well. The release of Temujin Contract has really amped up criminal back to competitive levels due to it's ability to get runners money, fast. It's power is no exception in non-crim decks. Temujin helps take the sting out of paying for 3, 4, and 5 cost breakers, and combined with Career fair, it takes the sting out of the slow return of resource economy.

  • Card Draw

Some would argue that Sunny's primary weakness is set up time. So, borrowing from the awesome Credit clicker 3000 deck, Making an Entrance can help you prioritize and even cull the cards in your deck. Instead of inject (which was in faction for Credit Clicker 3000) we have Diesel, Deuces Wild, and Sports Hopper to help you draw into cards quickly. Side note: depending on the match up, you may want to keep Sports Hopper on the table (for either damage protection or the extra link).

Strengths

  • Nexus

You should hopefully be rolling in the dough mid game so Nexus becomes beastly.

  • Breaking Everything

Datasucker gives Sunny's breakers the discount they need to do some work. Being cloud breakers, you can have all 3 datasuckers out along with the Breakers.

So other than adopting the new Crim economy and the Timmy Wong Anarch card draw/selection, this is a pretty standard Sunny deck... but it just feels a little faster and a little beefier.

Notable excludes

  • Jak Sinclair would be nice for added "click compression", especially with Temujin and Datasucker. I'd replace the same old things probably.

  • Multiaccess would be nice, but sadly there is no more influence. Globalsec Security Clearance is a decent thought, but going down to 3 clicks is... suspect.

Enjoy!

If you want slots for Jak Sinclair (which I agree you should include) why don't you cut a couple Another Day, Another Paycheck? Same Old Thing also seems unnecessary, as you mention.

I'd go -1 Another Day, Another Paycheck, -1 Same Old Thing, +2 Jak Sinclair, at least. The Turning Wheel is also pretty decent as multi-access, but again you have to cut something else. I'd go for -1 Temüjin Contract, -1 Security Nexus, +2 The Turning Wheel.

You guys are so right. I did -3 Same Old Thing, -1 career fair, -1 deuces wild, +2 Turning Wheel, +3 Jak Sinclair. Seems to be doing much better after a few games on Jnet!
