Trapped Traps

Krams 948

Here's my initial take on Jinteki: Potential Unleashed.

There are 49 total cards, 21 Ambush cards, 5 Trap cards. So round about half of the deck is meant as a trap for runners to fall into. The rest is mainly burst eco to pay for traps.

The main idea is to not bother building up anything and just try to randomly score out naked agendas for the point win, because the runner is too scared to steal them.

If you somehow do get the chance to build up a "scoring remote" it usually consists of a Prisec behind a Susanoo-no-Mikoto, protecting a slow-advanced Fetal AI. This is about as glaciery as it gets.

Previous builds were using Chronos Protocol: Selective Mind-mapping, an ID ability I didn't really made much use of, and Traffic Accident, which was a pretty random 1-of include that didn't really serve a purpose, so I guess I'm better off with Targeted Marketing.

As always, critics and comments are welcome :)

If you aren't sure where to spend your influence Blacklist makes a lot of sense. Also I think Chronos Project is PU's second best agenda (behind House of Knives, obviously).

If you want a current and Cerebral Static or neutrals aren't doing it for you, Predictive Algorithm is pretty fun with The Future Perfect and Fetal AI.

Those are some great suggestions. I think I might remove a News Team to get influence for Blacklist and Predictive Algorithm.

I'm kinda hesitating to include more 3/1s as I usually win my games by scoring out when the runner realizes most of my deck is just traps that you can avoid by not running at all. And 3/1s are kinda expensive for that. On the other hand, that Chronos Project might kill off a LARLA here and there and ensure the milling victory.

Though, I guess I should try Blacklist OR Chronos Project, not both. I don't like their anti-synergy.
