Peepin' Fisk

I've just recently started Netrunner and this deck has not really been play tested yet - so it is probably quite flawed. I'd be happy about feedback and thoughts.

Disclaimer:

I intend to develop a Criminal deck without Account Siphon and Faust. Because ... I've played decks like that and want sth. new. I'll probably slot in one Siphon later.

Game Plan:

tl;dr: Push agendas into HQ, multi-acces for da win!

Early game // It shouldn't be too important which central server is under attack - take the cheapest one, use Fisk's ability every turn and power through a Temüjin Contract or two.

Use Overmind as an early breaker, if necessary. But careful: copy 2 and 3 are meant to be a way into external servers in mid and late game (with e3 Feedback Implants). Also keep that in mind before using all of your MU. This might be too clunky and makes me play Box-E instead of Desperado. On the other hand, it makes checking out early Ice relatively safe and can provide some succesful early runs. Feedback welcome :)

If possible, start building up The Turning Wheel as well.

Mid game & onwards // HQ, archives or external servers ... some agendas should be somewhere by now. Clot and Rumor Mill should help against FA and Jackson (a little bit at least). I'm not sure about the timing regarding Fisk Investment Seminar yet - but I wouldn't swamp HQ with cards, if I wasn't sure I could get multi access the same turn. (We don't want to see all the goodies Jackson'ed away, do we). Using it for its drawing effect alone, should be reserved for emergencies (e.g. missing and desperately needed breakers).

Apart from sniping stuff, Drive By allows for checking, if the Corp tries to sneak out an agenda (which should happen a lot), without actually having to run an external server. Apart from Fisk Investment Seminar, I expect this to be a legit target for Same Old Thing, at least if you'e ready to run on click 4.

Enhanced Vision should kick in eventually and give you a good idea of what is going on. Aim for high quality access now (HQ Interface, Legwork). The Turning Wheel should provide extra pressure on R&D, if needed. The real hope is to get multiple agendas in one HQ run though - with Guru Davinder taking the #Punitive Counterstrike, in case you don't score 7 points in one go :)).

Update: This is an update to netrunnerdb.com Apparently instead of being updated, it was posted a second time.

Same Old Thing doesn't work with Fisk Investment Seminar ... so I removed to copies and added an Account Siphon and another Drive By. More updates after it saw a couple more games.

if you are wanting to use fisk investment seminar, maybe go all in and include a DLR package with decking the corp as a win condition? perhaps a hades shard as well for surprise access if you think there is a winning number of agenda points in archives?

Double Turing on a remote will completely lock you out of the game against HB. I really want to like Overmind, but you need to support it with a ZU.13 Key Master as well.

Also, Enhanced Vision is bad. Since you have the HQI and are trying to feed agendas into the corp's hand you might want to try Gang Sign in its place.

I got to play it a bit yesterday. Overmind does work sometimes, but is too expensive for the role I want it to play. Paying 4 often leaves me to broke to use it quickly. I need another solution. I'll look at some other Criminal breaker suits people built.

Eden Shard and Hades Shard might be a thing. I really like the Gang Sign idea. Thanks :)

Overmind is def a trap card. Perhaps look at the legend of Adam decklist for breaker options.

Running a criminal deck without account siphon is definitely possible. That said, account siphon should probably always be a part of any Laramy deck. Your ability will always be filling up their hand with cards, but if the corp can afford to play those cards, you may just be helping them out. Siphon helps to ensure the corp will be looking at a handful of cards they can't rez or operations they can't play.
