Sunny Glacier Drip Econ v.2

MarkyG 21

Hi there. I don't play in any organised meta or store- just casually with friends. I've loved Sunny since D&D came out & have tried to refine this deck to be as optimal as it can be for the non-competitive environment that I play in. Recent changes I've made have been to swap out Mr. Li for Blockade Runner (which lets me cycle through 50 cards quicker to find what I need) & NACH for Citadel Sanctuary (because I like the passive tag remove it offers- plus 2 hits a turn from Power Tap when this couples with a Security Nexus run...) It's still a slow-builder, but I like the style of it. I don't play many fast-advance decks so don't suffer quite as much I possibly could. Any thoughts, ideas or critiques are all welcome. Cheers

I personally prefer Rabbit Hole over Access to Globalsec just because, as soon as you find one of them, you can install all them immediately.

And what about Another Day, Another Paycheck? It looks very strong after you get your setup online, and also triggers with Power Tap.

What about things like Earthrise Hotel (with Career Fair maybe) ? I like the Blockade Runner thing but maybe it could help you speed up a little bit if you feel like you need it.

@Koga Thanks for the comments. I had Another Day, Another Paycheck in the deck until very recently- but never really seemed to get a good return from it- even with the Power Tap... I might try it again though...

Rabbit Hole would work. I have the influence spare, after all...

Earthrise Hotel... I think between Deuces Wild & Blockade Runner I have enough draw options, but it's a consideration, sure. I'll play around with those...

Thanks :)

Another experiment to try would be going without The Supplier or Hostage, and switch to Career Fair/Modded. Sunny's biggest weakness has always been a slow set up, and the supplier slows her down even more. Drip econ installed off the supplier also takes an additional turn to trigger. Modded/Career Fair will give you a similar effect, and will speed you up rather than slow you down.

@MrAaronSAThanks, I'll try that...

@MrAaronSAFurther to your comment on drip econ being slow with The Supplier- don't you choose which ' When your turn begins' effects trigger in what order? If I'm right (& please tell me if I'm not) could I not install Data Folding or Underworld Contact off The Supplier first, & then gain credits off them because they follow on in the sequence?

Just a thought!

You're correct in that you can choose your order of effects if they have the same trigger. So if you have two cards installed that both say "When your turn begins" you choose. In this case however, your drip econ is not active when your turn begins, so it can't trigger. It's a common mistake with the supplier.
