JOSHUA B. and CITADEL SANCTUARY DO NOT WORK. IGNORE THIS POST.

I think the deck idea is really cool, but is it consistent? Your only draw in the deck are the Street Peddlers (which lose you 2 cards every time) and Off-Campus Apartments, which is only a two-of - and you have just 9 Connections in the whole deck. This seems very little draw to me, especially when considering that you are using just one-ofs of your programs and only 2 Security Nexi. Also Street Peddler is quite risky when you play no recursion at all, just like the risk of running into program destruction, which could really ruin your day. And another thing: I think it is quite risky to play the Apartment without Fall Guys. Just a single stray tag (like one from good ol' JB, which you couldnt clear with the Sanctuary, because the Corp has too much money, or just a Breaking News) will blow it up and send all your Connections to the trash. But the idea of Joshua B. and Citadel Sanctuary is great, I think I am going to experiment a little with that!

Wow, Lynx...just, wow...very nice indeed! :) I've been itching to try a not only innovative, but successful Reina for a while now. I'm gonna have to give this a whirl sometime at my local store.

This is a very nice Reina deck. But I've seen some discussions and reddit and stimhack saying Joshua B. and Citadel Sanctuary don't synergize. The argument is that Citadel Sanctuary needs the runner to be tagged before the run ends so it can trigger.

Do you have any official ruling to back your statement?

@KlopstockConsistency is the biggest issue at the moment and is part of why I'm asking others to play around with it. I'm just not sure what to use for draw, other than Earthrise Hotel / I've Had Worse. Apartments is the latest test for draw, and I'm not very enthusiastic about it either for those reasons (and more); its just the cheapest draw right now for Anarchs.

Might toss the Peddlers and Apartments and go 2x Earthrise / 3x IHW. (And in doing so, will cut the Underworld Contacts / John Masanori, freeing space for more cards).

@esutter479Thanks! Do give this a try and let me know how it goes! I originally had a whole BP thing going with this, but that was too slow and unreliable. This is probably the best iteration yet, even with the clunky draw.

@moksJust like you can trigger Drug Dealer while on 0 credits before, say, Daily Casts, you can choose to trigger 'when your turn end' effects in the order of your choice. You take the tag from Joshua B. first, then have Citadel Sanctuary trigger to clear the tag.

Another similar situation is Blue Sun: Powering the Future / Oversight AI / Clone Suffrage Movement, which gives you up to 14 credits for 2 clicks per turn.

@Lynx Kuroneko I actually found the explanation on reddit for this : www.reddit.com Unfortunately, it's not the same case :(.

The issue with Citadel Sanctuary is the "If.. When" wording. Meaning it's trigger takes priority, before you can choose "When ...(your turn ends)" effects.

You'll have your 2 up easily so I would think about maxing out on Underworld Contacts. They are excellent drip!

I'm loving the flux of Security Nexus decks recently. It used to be such jank, now it's moving CtM out of the meta.

yeh... off campus looks nice, but if you are playing with Joshua, and the corp actually makes the tag stay, they can trash up to 7 connections in one click and 2 credits, too risky for my taste...

So I've been playing incorrectly for the last few days.

I'm so over it. >_<

@Lynx Kuroneko sorry man :(.

But you could still use Citadel Sanctuary with Data Leak Reversal and John Masanori.

A run on first with Security Nexus means you either access, or you trash top 3 cards on R&D and the get rid of the tag with Citadel Sanctuary.

Anyway, this inspired me to try a SecurityNexus Reina deck. Thanks :)

Why not go the DLR route here? It seems natural for Nexus decks in red, especially since that's one of the main plays in the Sunny version of the deck.

I'm sick of DLR in general, lol. I guess I'll try that, instead.
