Valencia Queen of Obelus Passant

I've been playing with a similar kind of thing now, but haven't had much time to tinker about.

Any thoughts on:

Using more resources instead of events? I dropped Sure Gambles and Inject in favour of Armitage Codebusting, Earthrise Hotel, Liberated Account and Street Peddler - skipped the cutlery as well.

Less Faust and more Paperclip and Black Orchestra? More Faust seems a bit more plausible though, since the breakers ARE just a back up... Also, Hades Shard and Obelus = <3

I went with Nerve Agent and Demolition Run to further combat operation combos. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

You might run low of clicks on turns where you really want to Blackmail, En Passant and Same Old Thing one or the other. Maybe go heavy on drugs, with Amped Up?

So basically I've been running more resources, as opposed to your event heavy approach. Haven't had time to really test different ways though. Any thoughts?

• where you go Tag me you don't wanna have more resources I think.

• card draw depends on if you get the medium soon. Sometimes I have to click for cards cause I missed it or just got bad draws . This is when I said it needs patience. But swinged it a lot with just get the timing to install sot siphon/blackmail for passant to get the pressure back.

• Faust obelus and shard/rebirth for Kim/Keung is just incredible.

• won't cut the Faust or Sure Gamble cause it's just the early game I need the pressure. Armitage is just to click intensive. And if you're set up you just get the money from siphons and the cards from obelus while trashing the ice. It's Rez for money to get low for the corp and then trashed or not rezzing, trashed and siphon on. Keep the timing and don't get hasty. Usually you have enough pressure on the scoring remote while the money is low on corp side or blackmail them or you break it with the backup breakers or Faust with 100 cards on hand.

• But once more. It's not a no brainer deck imho. Wrong choice wrong time you get out of cards or and money....tried similar variant with levy but just needed it gainst new jinteki heavy decking through net damage. That's the only Decks I had to struggle a little.

• wanton or demo run I put a lot of thoughts on and really don't know what to cut for it :-/ same for amped up.

I'll agree that it's really not a point&click deck by any means. A mate just today at our weekly games was pretty vocal about En Passant being "so broken", and it's really strong with Blackmail, I agree, but it's a combo piece and all combo pieces that don't automatically gain you points are... well, iffy.

It's time intensive and slow as hell to get to work. Really powerful. But then again with all the fast advance tools available these days, please... :D

I'd check if you can get some HQ pressure up cutting cutlery. What's the least iffy ICE type? Barrier, maybe? Paperclip's good. Start with Knifed?

I'm tempted to publish my own version now, even though it's not tuned at all (played it last sunday at local merry wee tournament and some weekly games with just minor tinkerings without any actual thought put in it), just for reference, if you're interested.
