NPE Val - Norwich Store Championship Winner

Epimer 176

This is the deck that I won the 2016 Norwich Store Championship with. It's - ahem - heavily inspired by David Culemann's Slightly Miffed Val list, although it started out as Blackmail/Interface spam and ended up morphing into a very similar list. Then I stole most of the rest of it because I trust his deckbuilding skills over mine.

Wins were against Argus, vegan Haarpsichord (twice) and what I think was Sleeper Hold ETF. One loss to faceplanting a Komainu in PU and losing the rest of my deck, which was at least hilarious.

Plascrete Carapace because I'm bad. The main flex slot is the Forked, which is a dead draw vs CTM and SYNC but I like it there for the odd decks you might see in Swiss. It used to be a Wanton Destruction for taking out tag punishment cards in hand but I ended up never using it so it went.

The worst card in the deck is probably the Dirty Laundrys, but I get that they can be really strong in keeping the tempo up vs. CTM in the early game.

The name is tongue in cheek. While Blackmail into En Passant can be absolutely brutal, I had some fun, interesting and interactive games. And an opponent said so too. Once.

It's a very tactical and rewarding deck to play and has plenty of counter play . Been playing anarch for 2.5 years and this latest archetype is one of the most fun and dynamic
