Rock & Val (1st Place, DSG AZ SC, 1/21/2017)

Valencia likes to rock some corps, she got me to the top 4 of two consecutive SC in Arizona, the first ended with me in 3rd place, and I won the last one. Keep reading if you wanna know how she rocks

Best thing about a 50 card deck is that is easier to fit the cards you want on it. Worst thing? It's more difficult to get your tools out. That's one of the reasons why Aaron Marrón is such a good card here.

The deck works as most of the Valencia en passant iterations, but this time I removed the Account Siphon copies and reduced #Faust to a single copy, focusing on running without many breakers while making money.

Aaron Marrón is great not only against yellow decks, but against any corp. Getting cards every time an agenda is scored of stolen is good enough, and it accelerates the deck nicely. Film Critic was really important against Jinteki, saving me from dying accessing Fetal AIs. The single copy of On the Lam worked really well for me, I even thought about adding a second one.

Since i run 3 copies of Inject the icebreakers that can be installed from the heap are a good inclusion, although they are more of a backup plan for match ups in which your Blackmail isn't appearing or was already spent. Medium is a great pressure card, and mixed with En Passant you can easily make a hole out of RD and start digging for agendas

Şifr as console: It saved my ass against annoying ice several times. It's really good as a backup plan when your economy isn't great. I think I might reduce it to 2 copies. I wanted to make room to some Parasite due to the synergy with the console but I love my single Faust and my two copies of D4v1d so I didn't.

Possible changes: Run Amok is great, but I didn't use it much because I didn't wanted to face check nasty ice. Spooned is my favourite out of the 3 cutlery pieces, since there are so many good Code Gates out there, but a single one means you won't always have it available, so I might as well change it.

The deck went 3-1 in the suisse, being defeated by a killer NEH with a couple BOOM! and defeating Palana, Jinteki:PU with no cards left in the deck nor in my hand, and even using my On the Lam to avoid the last damage before I scored the last Fetal out of my Film Critic and finally Blue Sun, which was a money race while the Blackmail was enabling me to get the agendas of my opponent

In the top it defeated the same killer NEH that killer me in the suisse, thanks to Rebirth and Edward's Kim ability, and defeated the same NEH deck in the gran final stealing 3 agendas in a short time span, before my rival had the pieces of his combo ready.
