Sifr Whizz (1st Newcastle store championship)

Jmac 32

This is the deck I took to my first store championship win. It is very similar to many other Whizzard decks that are popular at the moment but I feel it is well placed in the current meta. I think 2 Employee Strike is the right call as it is surprisingly flexible and helps the Cerebral imaging match up. Levy AR Lab Access stops you running out of cards. 2 Salsette Slums helps against friends in high places. Despite all the hype Şifr was underwhelming on the day but probably necessary to allow safe face checking. I only ever installed it once to have extra memory for Parasite and Medium. Also remember if you Levy AR Lab Access you can't install MKUltra from your heap.

On the day I faced:

Personal Evolution (Win), In this game I managed to pick the right installed cards to run on and picked up agenda points fairly quickly. The ice was all easily destroyed allowing me to close out the game.

Controlling the Message (Loss), My opponent tried to rush an astroscript out behind a a resister which I stole by using Parasite to trash it but I ran to aggressively and ended up putting myself in a credit hole to get Midseasoned. My Medium digs on R&D didn't get enough points to win before exchange of information won it for my opponent.

Cerebral Imaging (Win), An early Employee Strike forced my opponent to discard a global food then I managed to suppress ice with the exception of a Macrophage on R&D to score the rest of the 7 points before my opponent got the hasty relocation and shipment from SanSan combo to score an efficiency committee.

Potential Unleashed (Win), This deck had three main win conditions 24/7 news cycle a philotic entanglement which can be played around by keeping I've Had Worse, Bio ethics which can be removed with Salsette Slums and mill which takes to long with Levy AR Lab Access. I managed to destroy the ice on R&D and avoid all the potential aforementioned win conditions to steal the last few points with Medium on R&D.
