Angry-ish Geist (At Ease Games SC Winner 2017)

Winning Runner deck at the At Ease Games store championship in San Diego, CA. 13 players, went 1-3 in swiss, then 2-0 in the cut.

Been playing Geist a lot lately, and despite his performance in the swiss I still think he was the right meta call. We had about 5 players on NEH Railgun decks, and Geist is incredibly hard to kill with 24/7-BOOM! shenanigans. On the Lam, Aaron Marron, Forger, Sports Hopper, and a bevy of trashables to draw cards means he's probably not getting flatlined.

In the swiss, I won against a CtM deck, lost against a Sol deck (though I missed a 3/5 chance for the win), lost quickly against another CtM deck when I had no money to start and he had all his money assets (2 PAD, NASX, and 2 Commercial Bankers going by T4), and barely lost against a NEH Railgun deck when he was forced to score out and all my codegate breakers were in the bottom 10 cards of the deck. In the cut it beat a different Railgun NEH deck and beat the Sol deck it lost to in R2.

Vamadeva proved useful in several games, especially when certain other breakers didn't want to show up. It's in there primarily to fight against CI7, which this deck otherwise just loses to. The Slums proved useful in playtesting against asset spam decks, but the one time I had to deal with one on the day I was too far behind in money for it to matter. Still worth keeping in the Friends meta.

Would like to find room for another current and possibly a single Special Order, since there were several times on the day when I just couldn't find a single breaker I needed to get past gear check ice, despite all the draw in the deck. Probably drop the second Crescentus to get some space, all the yellow out there means the ice really isn't worth de-rezzing.
