CI No Combo! Imagine Bryan 2.0

Persopheus 75

Bored of the Weyland Stinson transcation spam? Tired of trying to pull off the combo in Hasty CI? Why not add some Bryan Stinson to good old CI, which profits from HB's awesome dual card-drawing and credit-gaining transactions?

Try to score a 3-point agenda as early as possible, accumulating credits and cards till you can fast-advance two 2-point agendas with biotics (or architect).

Do not be afraid to use Ashs, Bryans and Jacksons as baits for your scoring server.

The deck used to have 69 cards, I trimmed it down to 54 cards, which puts you into danger of death by drawing (especially if your opponent has some milling cards!). Hades Fragment helps with that, if you don't have it scored: Don't panic, play calmly and use your Jacksons wisely.

This is an updated version of the previous build, I underestimated the Lateral Growths. I experimented with different ICE suites, NEXT and friends seems to work best.

Try it out and enjoy!

How are you going to get the runner into Stinson range?
Seeing that you invested most of your inf on him I guess he's vital for you. But how do you meet his condition once the runner knows you have him and starts playing around him?
This looks like it could use some corpside vamping with closed/reversed accounts or nasty trace operations that the runner can't afford to lose.

Thanks for commenting! Bryan is not an absolute necessity, I have won many games without him or using him only once. Cash accumulates pretty quickly in this deck, even without Bryan. Nonetheless, most opponents will not expect you to drop Bryan in an HB and particularly CI, so he can be quite effective. It's Meta-dependent though. Also, it forces the opponent to stay above 5 creds, which slows him down a lot. And it doesn't always work as the opponent wants to trash Jacksons and Ashs. The deck is strong without Bryan and a well placed Bryan will almost win you the game single highhandedly. I am afraid that adding reversed accounts might weaken the overall performance of the deck. However, I will try your suggestion and maybe exchange an Architect or two or Eli for some Reversed Accounts. Though lowering the ice density is not without risks...

@Persopheus Seems like a whole lot of inf to spend on a card that isn't wholly necessary. Seems to me you could drop 1 to change a couple of Voting Machine Initiative's for Global Food Initiative. This would mean you have a free deck slot and 1 inf to spend you could even cut more for more inf and deck slots but I would think 2 Bryan Stinson is enough to pull off what your trying.

I agree, that might be a good idea, get rid of one Bryan - he isn't super important and as a duplicate he isn't useful anyway. However, I kind of fell in love with Voting Machine Initiative... its awesome and slows the runner down a lot... Maybe I can use the free influence more efficiently, maybe for Reversed Accounts etc.
