Kansas City Shuffle (1st Place South Florida SC)

"Charlie Chaplin once entered a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest in Monte Carlo and came in third. That's a story.

This....This is something else.

This is the Kansas City Shuffle. They look left, and you go right."

Well said, Bruce Willis from Lucky Number Sleven.

Hey, fellow Netrunner players. Do you have a store championship coming up soon? Is your whole local meta looking left, teching against CTM, Whizzard, CI7, IG, Nexus Decks, etc? Well, this deck is for you. Now is the time to move right and snap all their weak, "meta-predicting" necks while they're not looking.

Just to be clear, this is deck is a bunch of bullshit. It has a lot of hard counters, and only works because your opponent will not be expecting it. But, that's why we play a living card game right? Mind games. Meta calls and counter plays.

The idea is to burst up in money and cards, then feed your opponent one agenda followed up by a Midseason/ Boom! combo. Is it fun for you? Yes. Is it fun for your opponent? Fuck no. But it will win you games fast, so be a dick. Drop the bomb, and then go get a sandwich with all that free time on your hands.

The raised eyebrow when you just install a naked agenda on turn 5, and the "What the fuck?" when you drop a Midseason Replacements out of CI are worth the loss of friends.

Between the 2x Biotic Labor, 3x Consulting Visit, 2x Archived Memories, Boom! and Midseason Replacements, supported by the draw of Blue Level, Violet Level, and Green Level Clearance, you should have no problem assembling the pieces and getting rich well before your opponent has any idea what is happening.

Use Biotic Labor to gain that extra click to afford Consulting Visit for part of the combo. If your opponent has seen Boom! and trashed it, Biotic Labor gives you the click needed to Archived Memories it back, then pull the trigger.

Added bonus, if your opponent tries to Siphon you to death, they are likely to keep the tags. Fuck 'em.

Obviously, the 2x Beanstalk and 3x Ice Wall are there to meet the requirements for Consulting visit, but feel free to play around with the influence expenditures if you can. I'm not creative enough to think outside of Core Set.

Good luck. And have fun nuking all of your opponents' hopes, dreams and expectations into oblivion.

I made similar version of this deck... and I think the best 1-influence-weyland card for this kind of CI is defintely crisium grid. Dump it in right place to suck their 5 credit. Against vamp deck, reuse is useful, too. Also, personally I loved using errand boy to just draw 3 cards.
