Leon: The Troubleshooter

A.K.A, "The Zero Remote Do-si-do."

  • Leon: Corporate Troubleshooter
  • Matilda: Big Brother
  • Stansfield: Boom!
  • Tony: MCA Informant

Thought I'd weigh in on this madness. Don't like the Zealous Judge version personally. Just never make a remote, put Data Ward on both centrals, use the natural tax of Data Raven outside of Sync too.

Bolster your money while doing nothing but wait for the combo of Corporate Troubleshooter and MCA Informant, you also need Big Brother in this version if they refuse to do anything. Hopefully if they come after the Troubleshooter, through a Data Ward, that's enough of a tax for Hard-Hitting News to land, if they don't then you can close their accounts while you dig for Big Brother. Alternatively, you can wait for the full combo and give them one turn to deal with it. Never make a remote, never try to score.

It's a combo, so it's weak to disruption like Wanton Destruction, and if the BOOM!s get Slummed you're really sad as well, but that's why there's 3 of them. You can try cutting the Global Food Initiative for Priority Requisition to save 3 influence to use on Archived Memories and/or Friends in High Places which might help. The benefit is the runner getting to 7 points from these 6 agendas means they will sometimes need to steal 4 times to win, and gives you some resilience against runner 1 point cards like Mad Dash or Freedom Through Equality.

As a runner, you probably want to just get a bit of cash and hammer R&D to get rid of the Booms, Troubleshooters and get the agendas. Don't get HHN'd, Aaron is of limited value due to the actual intended effect of MCA. Sifr/Parasite the Data Wards and Ravens as these will slow you down a lot.

I don't think this is very strong, but it's degenerate af and will get you a few free wins based on opponent experience and lucky hands (before they errata MCA anyway).

I played this for 6 games on Jnet to see if it's as horrible as it sounds. I've played a lot of degenerate decks in the past and this actually made me feel worse than anything I've played before. Sorry to my 6 opponents.
