HB - fast advance - Cards up to Honor and Profit

Urziel 79

Constraints: Deck built with a limited card pool:

  • Core

  • Genesis Cycle

  • Creation and Control

  • Honor and Profit

Core concepts:

  • SanSan City Grid + Ash + some taxing ice on scoring remote

  • encryption protocol for protecting your naked assets like PAD or Adonis and making Ash and SanSan ever more taxing

  • Economy based on PAD and Adonis with limited number of Operations for boost; corporate war should always give you 7 credits

  • only 2 point agendas (2/4 or 2/3)

  • SanSan + biotic labour for advance

  • Precognition for nice Beta Tests

Strategy:

  • Don't be afraid to put naked servers! EtF passive is wonderful and trashing resources will put a strain on runners cash flow.

  • A lot of ICE in this deck have rez cost = 3, you can rez two cards with your starting cash ( 5 from starting cash + 1 from EtF)

  • Biodroid ICE is nice if stacked in layers

Deck is really straight forward - fast advance with strong economy protected by encryption protocol, if he wants to trash your economy - it's OK. With 3 protocols on board he can pay dearly for this!

That deck played exceedingly well. Nice, fast, the ICE was cheap to deploy, and the large amount of CODE GATES was perfect against me trying out PEACOCK (never again, I tell you). I can imagine you can get a better influence deal for the two PRECOGNITIONs, though.

@Aramaki Yog.0 can be bane for this deck, makes 6 out of 8 Code Gates useless (or almost useless like in case of Pop-up Window)

Idea with Precognition is to use it before scoring Accelerated Beta Test or to protect your R&D in the early phase of the game (e.g. 2-3 agendas in a row in R&D). Removing Precognition would free up influence for stronger Code Gates, but I need to think about it. As it's very tempting to put 3 rezzed ICE cards with Accelerated Beta Test!

@Urziel I see the point with Precog, but still - you could use that slot better imho (though, with 16 ICE cards that might be essential, hmm). Aside from that, it is a good deck, fast, and hard to trash when all the encryption protocols are in place.

@garret Precognition is not essential and it's whooping 3 influence per card. Another ICE might do the trick. Originally I was running this deck with Heimdall 2.0 so maybe it was more important ad that time to rez these without a cost.

Idea for Precognition replacement:

Caduceus for early protection and Tollbooth for longer games - you should still have enough economy to rez that without major problems

another idea for this deck - remove 3 x Viktor 1.0 replace with:

This together with previous modifications brings deck to more equalized ICE setup and reduce Yog.0 problem this deck had.

Also drop one Caduceus and one Heimdall 1.0 and add two Eli 1.0.
