Chiyashi Blue Sun

This deck is pretty much standard Blue Sun fare, but running the potential surprise of Chiyashi. Being able to rigshoot with Sappwr or Bulwark can help keep your barriers impregnable and allow for some easy scoribg. Rush out some agendas early on and midseasons if they get in to steal. Snatch and grab is for Film Critic usually, though there are other decent targets, like Beth.

I'm still not convinced that BABW isn't more consistent and therefore the better Weyland ID atm, what with how rampant Employee Strike is these days. However, that being said it is still a fun deck to play and is arguably equally good at scoring out or killing the runner.

Your ice suite is just begging to fall over to Sifr and Parasites, and completely lacks even gear-check code-gates, and is lacking in solid sentries.

From my experience, using some of the newer good Weyland ice works a real treat for Blue Sun, Veritas and Mausolus both are reasonably taxing, and punishing; and Tribunal has a really nasty facecheck, and stacks up surprisingly well in comparison to Cobra, which is consistently better than Sapper as far as I'm concerned.

Personally, I've dropped Bulwark completely, and am only running one Curtain Wall, the rest are all relatively cheap ice with good facechecks, even Enigma is doing good work in my Blue Sun.

Just to clarify on my previous comment, I am also running Chiyashis, and an Orion, for 4-5 big ice, and about 10 small, but generally taxing ice.

@Quarg Okay, those are fair criticisms. I haven't had good luck with Bulwark in my testing either, and was looking to replace it. I am probably going to drop down to 2x Sapper to slot at least 1x Cobra. I personally like what Sappers have done for me in the past, even though once it's actually installed Cobra is pretty much hands down better. In addition, I might use one of the slots from the removed Bulwarks to put in 1x Tribunal.

Enigma is just a great piece of ice, so I think I'll find space for a 3 of as a gear check at the very least. I agree with you about the Curtain Walls as well, as in my testing 3 is too many. I usually end up drawing into it when I don't want to see it. I did build this deck under the guidelines of my local league with a modified KoS banlist/MWL, so I am not running Friends for that reason, though for standard MWL I may try dropping 1x Chiyashi for 2x Friends.

I really enjoy how the deck plays, but I think it could only get better with your suggestions. Right now, not only does it die to ParaSifr, but Paperclip and Atman 8 just run it over. Thanks for the help!

@severininfursPersonally I'm not running Freinds in my Blue Sun, instead trying to just cram more good ice to try to hurt Temüjin and score behind as soon as you have a good econ advantage, as you can't maintain an economic advantage in the long term with Blue Sun without some bigger economy cards, like Adonis Campaign

As an aside, one of the most important things to know when piloting Blue Sun is that there is a point at which you should cease Oversighting your ice, unless you have spares, and can oversight it behind another piece of ice or two.
