Interesting idea....no one expects PC in NBN TWIY

some time ago i played around with the same idea too: http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/3278/yellow-fever-v-1 my ice is to be reconfigured but the rest still is fine.

I'm confused why you picked TWIY for this deck. It almost seems like you could switch to Making News, throw a couple more pieces of ice and maybe some econ and call it a day. I think that the reoccuring creds from MN would be pretty nasty with pumping trace for invasion of privacy, shadow, snoop, and punitive.

So the main reason for running TWIY* is that noone's expecting it. Going up to Making News also causes you to have to add an agenda, plus 2 ice and an econ card just to keep parity. If we also want to add an edge of world/counterstrike with the new influence, then there's 4 of our cards. I'll admit that this isn't the be-all and end-all, but that was my thought process.

I ran this at a Chronos Protocol Tournament today, and my impressions were this:

  • The six card hand limit was actually meaningful several times, as it allowed a little breathing room if what I needed wasn't showing up.
  • People treat data ravens as if they say 'when the runner encounters this, end the run' more often than they'll take a tag and then clear it.
  • Don't screw up and put a Moon Ad behind a data raven when you only have 3 credits.
  • You can lose to Noise casually getting 4 agendas from 3 runs after playing two viruses.
  • It works, for a given value of works. There's certainly some tweaking room to be done.
