Geist Who's Back

Dusted off my old Geist deck for a spin in the new meta. Made some minor updates for newer cards (like -Gordian +Abagnale, -FTE +Mad Dash etc). Still have four spy cameras because I'm a heathen.

Are you ever wishing for more Siphons? Lara is gradually reducing the siphons in the Geist she is playing and I am interested to see the results.

Also is Employee Strike there for Skorpios? Or was it then to annoy me as RP?! :P

@CliquilMy old Geist lists had no siphons at all, and I was told that was foolish. Siphon is obviously a strong card, and the recent addition of Marron makes managing the tags very doable where before you could never go tag-me, so siphon used to have more downside. SOT is more siphons when I need it to be of course.

Strike is generally good, and is a mainstay of many of my decks, rather than a specific meta call. There's always a CI or an RP, and it's still pretty reasonable if you're playing denial against ETF/Palana.

How would you feel about swapping a Polop or an SOT for another siphon?

How useful do you find the second mongoose? I'm still on one which can be an issue when people stack sentries (doesn't happen that often though)

@emilyspineThis deck in the past was never really all-in on Siphon because it can't handle tags, but with Marron, you could probably siphon more aggressively. Dropping a PolOp if you don't expect caprice/ash could be good. Not sure how true that is right now. I personally like the flexibility of the 3rd SOT and reliability of the second Mongoose, but they're both reasonable cuts if they suit your play style. Definitely worth consideration.
