Good ol' Switcheroo

This deck takes a couple of deck ideas I've had for a while now (namely asset spam & trace-tag BOOM!) and smashes them all together into one big beautiful mess.

Trace-Tag:

Weaken your opponents economy by starting traces all the time with NBN: Controlling the Message and either Door to Door or Manhunt, together with Aryabhata Tech & Primary Transmission Dish this should make your opponent very upset and eventually result in a tag or two slipping by.

Asset Spam:

And now that we have already agreed that we want some assets out to make our traces better, we might as well go all the way and just asset spam. Turtlebacks & PAD Campaign will steadily improve your economy and trying to remove assets will trigger another trace from your CtM.

Exchange:

This is usually the win-con of the deck, and it allows us to spam agendas too! Normally giving your opponent an opportunity to take an unprotected Restructured Datapool or Global Food Initiative is considered quite stupid, but in this deck its all according to plan. Because you're going to swap those bad boys back for a lausy Quantum Predictive Model or Breaking News with Exchange of Information the very instant they let their guard down.

In fact they don't even need to let their guard down, because with just 3 clicks and 2 credits you can score News and Exchange it for Something Bigger right away leaving your opponent with two permanent tags since the second part of Breaking News does not trigger because it is no longer in your score area. Either that or you use Midseason Replacements or Hard-Hitting News in an attempt to gain a big overflow of tags and maybe even setting up a Psychographics to directly score a 5-point agenda.

You have 2 Exchanges and with 2 swaps for 3-point agandas out of the way, you just need to score a 1-point'er to close out the game. And if you're lucky, your opponent might even do it for you.

ICE:

The watchful eye might have sensed some common themes among the ice used in this deck. For the less observant: It's tracing and tags.

Not much to else say about the ice choices, these are just the ones I feel offer the most power for their price (and having played with list for a while now, they're the ones I feel most comfortable with).

The only other ICE I have seriously considered would be Resistor, Gutenberg, Turnpike & Archangel, but I haven't done enough testing to say whether or not the deck would be better with them.

In terms of when and how to place your ICE, just make sure that you're always protecting HQ and R&D as quickly as possible. Once those two are safe you can start worrying about archives or maybe setting up a protected server to try and score. Since the whole deck is designed around asset spamming you will rarely need to protect more than 4 servers (which is why the ICE count of the deck is so low).

Having an ICE that guarantees one tag like Data Raven or Thoth on your central servers will make your Quantum Predictive Model into boms (if they don't have any method to avoid or remove the tags with paid abilities)

Match-ups:

Any deck with a large amount of tag evasion (which usually means any criminal deck) or recurring trash credit can be a bit though. Playing around cards like Aaron Marrón, New Angeles City Hall, Whizzard or Scrubber is entirely possible but takes a bit of practice and definitely makes the game harder. A well timed Employee Strike can also mess up your board quite a bit, but luckily you have enough currents and easily scored agendas to quickly turn it off.

Side Notes:

If your opponent has clicks and cash left and you don't have any Aryabhata Tech's in play, you rarely want to take your trace strength more than 3 above your opponent's base link strength. Raising it any further won't matter since your opponent will likely just take the tag and paying 1+2 to instantly remove it. Generally you just want to set your trace strength exactly to the point where your opponent is facing two equally bad options.

Keep drawing with Jackson Howard to keep the asset spam going! drawing beyond your limit is not a big problem. Discarding cards that are not very applicable for the match-up or binning a few agandas into your archives is not a problem at all (it actually keeps the agendas safer as long as you remember to use His second ability to put them back into R&D if the runner ever tries to run against the archives)

If you have Manhunt active and you have more credits lying around and your opponent ever runs against a Quantum Predictive Model, just let him through and pay your way to a free agenda.

Card Choice: Still testing out Midseason Replacements and Hard-Hitting News as well as different ICE combinations to try to improve the list. All suggestions are welcome!
