Clones Belong in Outer Space

The Swapper

Weyland here, and we are proud today to unveil our latest accomplishment. We are shoving Clones into rocket ships and blasting them far off into outer space. We know that watching clones panic as they unwillingly fly away into the corners of the unknown is the future of entertainment, and we are happy to inform you that this Future is NOW!

We at Weyland are experts at finding clones AND rocket ships to shove them into, and we are always looking to expand our stellar reach. We are prepared to send not only clones, but also small businesses and our loyalist supporters - you - to the wonders of space. Some megacorporations have been satisfied with Global Food Initiatives, but we are going for INTERGALACTIC Food Initiatives (through the forced assistance of those clones we are shoving into rocket ships, of course).

And we will be launching all of this stuff into space QUICKLY, with champagne, Chimeras, and chutzpah leading the way to speedy and unimpeded launches.

(A ridiculously fast no-frills rush to 7 agenda points. Enjoy the numerous one-pointers. Enjoy the free money from Paywall Implementation. Enjoy how often you'll see a remote Archer trash programs AND advance agendas simultaneously. Enjoy how amazingly good election Day is at immediately granting agendas for scoring windows. Replace Will-o'-the-Wisp with another Sapper if you aren't seeing a lot of Conspiracy Breakers in your meta. Consider more Hortums if you are seeing a lot of AIs in your meta)

Weird, I invented similiar deck 15 minutes ago and you already published it!

Thoughts on Fast Track (FA 5/3 out of your deck feels good, extra combo potential, pulls HT for generating starting scores with Clones) and Consulting Visit (pulls Clones for next turn or Hunter Seekers)?

Why Election Day?

Do you have enough econ? May be IPO over Beanstalks?

Fast Track and Consulting Visit could work as replacements for Election Day. I've grown personally fond of Election Day as an emergency pull; using it to find ICE has saved me from some Mediums, and it has always gotten me an agenda when I've been looking for one. Fast Track and Consulting Visit aren't quite as flexible. The biggest downside with Election Day in this deck: It is not advised to use it while holding agendas in hand.

Econ's been fine. Paywall and Bailiff help a ton against Criminal. There's some high vulnerability to Vamp plays, though, and that's part of why I like Beanstalk for recovery. I'd be more likely to experiment with Stock Buy-Back.

Fast Track could work as an Election Day replacement, but I don't think Consulting Visit would be worth it (It's expensive to use it to prep a Clones Are Not People, and the risk of the Runner ruining things by playing another Current or stealing an agenda is too high). I've personally grown fond of Election Day as an emergency pull; using it to find ICE has saved me from some Mediums, and its draw of 5 cards reliably gives me agendas when I'm looking for them. The main downside to Election Day is that it's bad when you already have agendas in HQ (in which case I wouldn't be playing Fast Track).
