Mini Moon 1.1.1.1

protolich 10

The corp deck I took to my local stores latest 1.1.1.1 tournament.

This deck helped me get my first non-bottom placement!

Results

Overall out of 5 games I won 2, drew 2 and lost 1.

My first game of the day was against a new player and I did feel somewhat guilty as the game unfolded and my board state completely outstripped his ability to keep up, he managed to poach a couple of early agendas as I was flooded but soon my Commercial Bankers Group and Clone Suffrage Movement were all out and it was Biotic Labor recursion for the win!

The days second game was against Sunny and it suffered terminally from being a Sunny deck. They managed to get a decent start on setting up their rig but were too starved of cash to keep me in check. SanSan City Grid helped me score out without needing to keep a Biotic Labor in hand.

The third game was this deck's only loss of the day. The runner was Kit with Inversificator and Yog.0 Dedicated Processor shenanigans. I managed to throw up a decent amount of ice avoiding code gates on HQ and R&D but my political assets fell foul of the 3x Aeneas Informant's that were on the board. I did manage to score two agendas but as I had sent my Paper Trail to the bottom of the deck through Sensie Actors Union early on I could not deal with the Informants. He kept my Bankers and CSM's in the bin and ground me out.

The days fourth game saw me face against a Prepaid Kate deck. My opponent managed to get his three pads out quite quickly but didn't manage to see enough economy to stay on top of my board state. I scored a Paper Trail to remove his ProCon and a floating tag from a Snare! access allowed me to remove his Same Old Thing delaying any Levy play that might have happened. Biotic recursion enabled me to score out in the end.

My last game of the day was against Leela, my opponent wasn't able to get adequately setup and aside from bouncing some of my R&D ice could not threaten my centrals overly. A well timed Paper Trail trashed Security Testing, Aaron Marrón and two Armitage Codebusting which set him back enough to allow me to score out the rest of my agendas in a secure server.

Conclusion

For a onesie deck this plays quite hard, you are ideally looking for a Sensie Actors Union or Estelle Moon early on to help with your draw.

Some tweaks I might make after playing a few games with it:

  • Drop Ultraviolet Clearance. I think I used one all day. I was never low enough on cards to justify the draw and I would prefer to install more than one card.
  • Possibly drop IPO for the most part my Hedge Funds were adequate for burst economy and I ideally want to terminal with Friends.
