Greetings aspiring film critic. I never said you could paint unrezzed ice. Paint the outermost rezzed ice even if it is not the outermost ice. Then run. Nexus protects against the outermost and there's a possibility that it's a barrier or that you can still pass the outermost to get to the next ice which is painted. Cheers mate:)

Makes sense!

Security Nexus + Surfer makes a lot of sense... it's a lot easier to pressure the corp to rez ICE when if they only rez one ICE on a server you can just waltz through with Security Nexus. I really like it.

Two thoughts:

  1. I know it is important to your game plan, but you could probably just play one Surfer and play a bit more program searching (another SMC, at least) if you had any ideas that required more influence.
  2. There are a lot of decks that are popular right now that don't run a lot of ICE. I'm thinking mainly about asset spam decks, but there are some decks that rely on fast advancing that I'm worried how you beat. You could probably help your matchups against them in a few ways:

a) spending more influence and card slots on silver bullets (Clot, Scrubber, Film Critic, New Angeles City Hall)

b) spending more influence on econ

c) spending more card slots that let you hit R&D hard earlier. The Maker's Eye, Indexing + Mad Dash or (it would require a big change in deck construction) Deep Data Mining may be better than the R&D Inferfaces.

Anyway, I really like the concept. Good luck with the deck.

Thx Sanjay. There's not much asset spam in my meta, or fast advance in my meta, but I'd probably either swap Atman and a Surfer for Mammon. Or maybe even try (gulp) Alpha.
