Conspiracy Kim (GNK 1st) [Shipment from ChiLo]

PureFlight 1068

I won a recent GNK with this and my Seidr deck. Eddie dropped 1 of his 3 games, while Seidr was undefeated. We discuss how these decks did on Episode 3 of my podcast, Shipment from ChiLo.

This was my attempt to build a good-stuff Eddie Kim deck. I don't usually play Anarch, so it was definitely a learning experience. So if you're interested in playing this list, don't follow it to the letter. Instead, take these pearls of wisdom I bless upon you now:

  1. Obelus is pretty neat. It's better with better breakers, as you can trigger the draw more often. I'd rather use it with core set breakers.
  2. Obelus is better with Faust. A rig of Faust + 1 of each of the conspiracy breakers would be a good use of the console.
  3. An advantage of the conspiracy breakers is including Inject, which I have dropped because I was tired of binning my viruses and multiaccess. I should either use Inject and drop the extra programs (Progenitor, D4v1d, Nerve Agent, etc), or change to core set breakers and keep the draw package.
  4. Hades Shard was just there for the Obelus Super Draw combo, which again should be in a Faust list only.
  5. Three Employee Strike is an awesome luxury to have. It's also your primary defense against Skorpios and Aginfusion.
  6. Obelus is great with Kim because both love multiaccess.

If I were to make changes to this list, I'd switch to core set breakers (drop 2x Strikes for Yogs), keep Obelus, switch the Hades to a Film Critic, and play around with the Employee Strike influence (possibly a Pol Op).
