First (Runner) Deck Ever Built!

Haven't yet played it- built my first runner deck after only ever playing CORE. Have played each Corp and Runner once, then purchased Order and Chaos.

Keep it up. Looks like a solid start

On my suggestion, I would say this need more card draw and econ to keep it flow, Wyldside is really solid but if you feel uncomfortable to play it, 3x I've Had Worse, Vigil and some Diesel may help this.

About money, Armitage Codebusting and Aesop's Pawnshop is a good choice to flow things out, or maybe Magnum Opus.

About virus I'd say 3x Hivemind is too much, you can change 2 of them and MemStrips into Djinn and use it to search Hivemind after you got Progenitor online.

The Toolbox is really expensive, I suggest don't use it, better use Grimoire for more annoying with your virus or Vigil for more card draw.

Yog.0 and Mimic with Ice Carver or Datasucker is really solid, hope you try it, and please don't use Wyrm it's horrible.

Thanks @CodeMarvelous and @doldol161 !

I always get really worried about going through cards so quickly, but I suppose that is part of the Runner mechanic! Not used to the idea of it's okay to go through so many cards because you just shuffle if you run through them.

With Aesop's Pawnshop I worry about trashing my own stuff? But I guess that's a good card to keep around with Bank Job. Keep that one token left on it to get some more credits flowing!

I completely forgot about Djinn's last card ability, doh! That would be great to have.

I had looked at Vigil and felt disappointed, I guess? That's why I got excited with The Toolbox. Grimoire does sound perfect for where I'm going with all these virus programs, though!

I suppose I was going for some weird variety with Wyrm :) I missed Yog.0 completely. I feel like maybe I've blacked out and forgotten where some of these Anach cards are! Better go find those...

As a heads up, you do not shuffle your heap into your stack when the deck runs out. The only way to get cards back into your deck are Trope and Levy AR Lab Access...which aren't in the core or O&C.

Thanks! Still getting used to this game. Haven't gotten to a point with a Runner deck that I've run out of Stack cards, at least!

It's usually not that much of a problem to run out of deck for a runner. As long as you have your most important stuff installed and you have something on the field that lasts and gives you s (or s in your case).

Ah! That makes so much sense! I haven't really thought of the Runner as just trying to get a rig up and going (effectively) and then only really needing credits to keep making runs to get those agenda points. Been too focused on not drawing too much, or worrying about losing the less expensive "starter" installation pieces.
