Murder She Wrote

All of the ice is AP. You're basically playing a papercuts game where the goal is to create a damage work compression scenario that either kills the runner or lets you score out. Early game you want to ice up APs you can rez on centrals. Then, establish a money engine. You won't need a lot of it late game, but midgame you will to get everything setup. It's perfectly fine if your stuff gets trashed so long as you keep laying it out and taxing them.

Scarcity needs to be used to either tax out resource economy or turn off strikes. Like most damage based decks the hope is to NA a house of knives early. Barring that an early MK II is good too.

Once you're setup, 2 synth mods is usually enough to seal your win. 1 click and 2 cards + whatever it cost to break before they can run at your scoring remote. And if you have a house of knives they might just die there to that.

You want at least one of your barriers on your scoring remote. HoK in that case is 2 damage for the 2 runs. Synth DNA is another 2 damage. That makes Obokata unscorable without film critic. And it makes fetal lethal. If they do use critic, it's likely that the clicks to score the agenda will open another window.

There's no caprice in this deck because it's not a game you really want to play.

consider a ben or two, you can really make agendas unstealable, even the ones not called obokata protocol! Especially behind a remote of 2-3 kakugo!

It hasn't really been necessary. Ben might be overkill. Probably find room for bioethics first.

Also worth noting that going in on Ben makes you more susceptible to film-critic issues.

I've been playing the mess out of this deck over the last couple of days. I played it on CodeMarvelous and Sanjay's stream tonight. Your list got some compliments. I just wanted to make sure credit is given where it is due.
