Charmander's Frat Party

Here's the newest iteration of my experiments in Kit/Inversificator. Description updated. Comments welcome!

A quick search on NRDB for Kit + Inversificator in post-rotation, MWL 2.0 compliance doesn't turn up much these days. So here's my contribution to this niche corner of deckbuilding!

The idea started off with: "let's see how much mileage we can get out of Inversificator in Kit." Naturally, that started expanding. "We have lots of spare MU, so why not Data Folding? And since we're going drip, and I hate traces (and won't have a ton of cash to pay them down anymore), lets add Rabbit Hole and Underworld Contact." And of course Deep Data Mining seems a natural choice for lots of unused MU.

I've heard Stimhack is good in InversiKit, so let's toss that in.

This version of the deck has since removed Aumakua and Dean Lister as I felt I never really needed to install them with Inversificator out. Either I always aimed to trash or steal something too, or big dig RnD, so I never really felt the need to use it. Laguna Velasco District has been removed for Professional Contacts. While I loved the digs that LVD enables, the extra few credits from ProCo I'm hoping will really help enable that early drip setup and fuel the initial Algo investments.

Overall, the deck feels a bit slow. It lacks Kit's signature speed unless you draw an early Stimhack. The deck originally packed some Spooned, but that influence is just such a hit! I feel like a little bit of extra pressure on the Corp's ICE could make this deck significantly better, but again it's a question of influence (maybe swap Suppliers back for Career Fairs and toss in 1x Spooned). I've added one Cyber-Cypher for early game rush potential; overwrite it with Inversificator on the Dino when you get them out.

Usually you're decently set and running by around turn 4.

What do you think? Inversificator seems too good not to experiment with! Would Tapwrm be too much drip? Thank you for any feedback you want to leave!

Side Note: the name of this deck, according to my creative friend, is now Charmander's Frat Party. I'm not sure how this makes sense, but he assures me it will if I keep playing...

I really like this idea. IversiKit was my favorite Pre-Rotation deck, and i've thought about a build similar to this one, but haven't gotten around to put it together. I like the include of Tapwrm, and have you considered something like DareDevil for the console? Would get some much needed draw potential and wouldn't hurt your memory at all for using DDM or DF. I was also thinking adding DDS processor to get at a similar effect to Dino.

@DrTalos the original version of this used System Seizure + Dedicated Processor for easy strength boosts and keeping them for the run (plus the ability to overwrite annoying corp currents). Considering how deadly Scarcity of Resources could be to this deck, I'm considering at least putting SS back in. Then again, with Dino already boosting strength, maybe Interdiction would be a better include.

DareDevil could be good. I'm seeing it crop up quite a bit, though sometimes I want to draw without spending credits on a run. So I'm not 100% on it necessarily for this deck.

Tapwrm is good. No two ways about it. Influence hurts in Kit, though. I'd probably have to drop the HQ multiaccess and scale back one copy of Supplier. And I'll tell you what, getting Supplier early is BIG. If I swap Suppliers for Career Fairs, though, it could work. Still, I'd almost rather prefer a copy of Spooned for added pressure. Algo does surprising work if you get a decently early one!

Turns out all those people saying Algo is decent now might actually be right.

with 3x SMC you could tutor up one or 2 Tapwrm easily.

@RubbishyUsername I think one Tapwrm would be significant drip combined with what's already in the deck. Question is what would you cut? (Isn't that always the question in Kit)

Legwork probably. I love multi access but Stimhack is just too good.
