Net Decked

LeNoble 16

I hadn't played much Jinteki before but Potential Unleashed was really appealing. The idea of almost doubling the effect of net damage seemed like a strong advantage. Here's my take on a deck; I'd love feedback!

AGENDAS

The agenda suite is pretty straight forward, lower density with 5/3s that protect themselves. Obokata is a natural fit as it also triggers the ID. I include 1 Chronos Project instead of a third House of Knives as I find if you score it you can often hit conspiracy breakers or other worthwhile targets.

ASSETS

Breached Dome is great and basically the Shock! replacement. I went with Shi.Kyu over Snare! because I found the tempo hit with -1 point was stronger than the 1 tag as I don't have any other tag punishment. True, Snare! could potentially just kill a runner, but I always triggered Shi for 1 net damage so people would take the point/tempo hit or keep getting pinged.

OPERATIONS

The econ in the deck is operation based, so 3 Preemptive Action helps keep it going. No Medical Research Fundraiser because I found giving the runner money was no good. Ark Lockdown is excellent for sniping conspiracy breakers or Levy AR Lab Access. I often have used it early to just lock runners out. Biased Reporting is an excellent econ card in the mid-late game. MCA Informant targets Film Critic which is this deck's biggest weakness. Punitive Counterstrike Combos very well with Obokata Protocol and can simply kill runners. I did try Data Loop in it's place for awhile, but found it not effective enough.

ICE

The goal is to tax credits and cards so the ICE mix is a thousand cuts focus. Chrysalis is nice as an added trap potential. I usually leave R&D open turn one, just to let them possibly hit the 10 traps in the deck. Miraju helps with R&D/HQ protection depending on the runner, as they rarely break it. Kakugo is the MVP card as it will constantly fire the ID and strongly protects Obokata. I'm on the fence about Chiyashi.... The price is steep but the effect is great. I just find I often toss it because the cost is too high.

Let me know what you think!

Also, in Jinteki Casual it's won 68% out of 35 games, which I feel is a pretty good start. The deck will frequently go to the longer/end game, I often deck the runners, and the biggest weakness so far have been de-rez and ice destruction tactics along with early Film Critics. Net damage prevention with Mopus is also tough.
