50-card deck because you can absolutely run through the deck in minutes. I have it double-sleeved so it looks like a gigantic tower of cards, hence the name.
The goal is to use the cloud breakers with Aumakua, building a gigantic hand size if you need to with Braincage to use with Dean Lister. I also added Bookmark to stash those cards you might want for later (Levy, Legwork, DDM, etc), but also to instantly beef up your hand size for a crucial Turtle-Lister run.
Many times I have burned through the deck THREE times, so I definitely think 2x Levy is the right call.
Instead of Calling in Favors, I decided on Technical Writer, as I find every connection I installed I was instantly popping for Tech Trader money & more cards. So get a Technical Writer down and just install Spy Cameras for free and cloud breakers for cheap.
If I could add any cards it would be more Freedoms or Mad Dash... Spy Camera is the real MVP of any Geist deck, so it'd be nice to get +1 point on any agenda steal.

I don't think you can afford to at least not have 3 of Forger+Maxwell James if you're running the Cloud breakers because you need that link. The EASIER way to get down to 50 is not play the Cloud Breakers, but the matchup vs your IT Department was the first time I regretted that choice. Thanks for the feedback tho, expect to see The Tower of Geist again, maybe with one less story ;) |

I'm sure you're right. My justification was always that I never felt "poor" even when I couldn't get my Tech Traders out, as 36/50 cards here cost 1 CR or 0 CR. If I had to cut 5 cards, they would be: 1 SOT, the Bookmark (just wanted to spend all the influence), 1 Sports Hopper, a Spy Camera & probably a Technical Writer. I don't think you can afford to at least not have 3 of Forger+Maxwell James if you're running the Cloud breakers because you need that link. ive been running 53 or so in my geist but i power thru the cards, i was running drug dealers x3 , 3 off campus apt. and 25 resource mostly connections, the few expensive things i usually supplier ed out. i even unless i had to supplier out something or just finished a run, hardly ever paid the dealers, as i would pop a fall guy and spend the creds beforehand, i usually didnt run much as i built up first, occasionally sacking a spy cam to see if it was time, then when i felt it was, id sack my hoppers and a dean or sometimes a security chip. since i used the sac breakers. and deep dove rd for 2-3 usually after spying one one top. |
Even if you're ripping through your whole deck consistently, you want to get this down to 45. One thing that was evident from our game—it took you forever to get all the Tech Traders online (albeit because Tithoniums did trash a couple). A smaller deck's helps you find your economic lynchpin quicker. I'd look at cutting a SoT, Forger, Hopper, one of either IJ or Spear Phishing. Also if you cut cards that proc Geist (e.g. Hopper) the issue of going through your deck too quickly is mitigated.
