Alice Enchains v4

Trebor 83

This is the 4th iteration of my Alice deck that I've been running in some form or another since her release. The aim of the deck is to reach a point that the corp has zero cards in hand and a very full archives.

The main engine is Maw supported by a pair of Haemorrhages, along with Alice's ID ability and the dream turn is to run Archives and trigger Alice, run an asset to trigger Maw and then spend the tokens that get placed on Haemorrhage from those runs, leaving the corp with a single card in hand.

This is augmented by the Corporate Defector and System Outage, which limits the corps options to draw beyond their mandatory without giving away what they've drawn and losing money, therefore establishing a lock on HQ.

Once this lock is established you install Equivocation and run R&D until you score out, systematically draining the corp of money due to the System Seizure and using Maw and Haemorrhage to clear any card you don't want the corp to keep before they can use them.

The decks main weakness is speed as it's draw is limited and a lack of recursion means that it's too risky to lose pieces to Inject to warrant including it. Without a strong start fast decks can score out before the engine gets properly up and running.

The deck also suffers to early Scarcity of Resources if you can't find a System Seizure to counter it.

The Unicorn card is Film Critic. For a while it was Gang Sign but i found that the corp rarely had enough cards in hand to get value from it and Critic helps against Obakata, which is otherwise pretty painful to deal with and as Jinteki and Skorp are pretty prevalent locally, it's value is pretty high.

Bhagat is to help provide HQ pressure, if that ends up being your early Maw target and means the corp needs some protection on all 3 centrals.

Caldera is in case I need to steal a protected and installed Obakata.

Aeneas Informant is a bit of a flex slot and it tends to go back and forth between it and Deuces Wild. Aeneas is amazing in the asset spam match up and has excellent synergy with Maw and Haemorrhage, whereas Deuces has it's in built flexibility and is mostly used for it's expose and draw abilities.

Hades Shard is to allow for easy access to Archives late game if the corp has managed to reasonably lock you out. On the day I managed to hard install it on click 4 and fire it it to steal the winning points in one game.

On the day the deck went 2-2, losing to Skorp and Jinteki Biotech after I stupidly decided to steal an Obokata on click 3, clearing my hand.
