Ice up R&D, HQ, and one remote. Put some facedown stuff in Archives so Runners are scared of Shock and Shi.Kyu. Stack advancement counters on whatever safe cards are available, then ToL your 3/2s out of hand. When your remote is completely secure, install a 4/2 facedown and leave it. If the Runner doesn't succeed in a run, you can use the Tennin counter plus 3 clicks to score. If they make a successful run on a different server, just click advance twice and ToL the last two.

Susanoo can direct a pesky Runner to your Archives, where Shocks and Shi.Kyus await. They'll probably just jack out. Unsuccessful run!

Only 8 econ cards is rough, with your ice being fairly expensive shutdowns are going to hurt a ton. I'm working with a Tennin deck now and am trying to use Shadow and Ice Wall (for cost, and advance ability). It might be hard to keep them out of all servers to trigger the ID and if you cant trigger it Trick of Lights are pointless

Yeah, the econ/trap balance is going to be tricky. I think the ice needs to be as taxing as possible rather than being binary, especially since Tennin can put counters anywhere, but I'm not sure how to reliably fund it. Maybe the third Melange is needed.
