Mopus Adam

This is my modern take on Adam in the current meta. I love the concept of Adam: a runaway bioroid with a new take on his directives. He has to be able to combat the challenges that he is faced with, while also taking advantage of what makes him special.

Game Plan is the usual Adam: put pressure on the corp by continuing to draw through your deck and building your board state. Close out the game with Find the Truth and Corporate Defector into Mad Dash and The Turning Wheel.

Directives: Almost always start with Find the Truth, Safety First, and Neutralize All Threats. Only swapout Safety First for Always Be Running if you are playing against a Rush Deck (Titan) or maybe against Punitive if you are worried about it. Find the Truth is incredibly good, and is amazing when coupled with Mad Dash and RNG Key. Safety First is card draw. Neutralize All Threats is a free HQ Interface. We have an extra copy of Find the Truth because it is amazing, and Always Be Running just in case.

Econ: Magnum Opus is the core of this deck and it is what we are playing as our restricted. I've tested a ton with other restricted cards, from Employee Strike to Film Critic and even the cheeky Inversificator. But in the end, Adam doesn't have an economy, and I really didn't want to fork up a ton of influence on Liberated Account. Even though there is only one copy, Emergent Creativity is a thing and you should definitely be using it to find your Magnum Opus. To supplement this, we have the usual Sure Gamble, Daily Casts, and Dirty Laundry, just because those are all good. Also, we have RNG Key which is like a mini Magnum Opus. It is absolutely disgusting with Find the Truth and Corporate Defector and is still pretty good otherwise. For our rig, we have 3 Multithreader to make runs a lot cheaper and to be absolute beasts in the late game.

Draw: Safety First and Drug Dealer is all you need. Considering putting in Sports Hopper, but it seems to expensive, since Dr. Lovegood can get the drugs for free.

Icebreakers: Aumakua is the main breaker until you get the Black Orchestra and Paperclip up and running. Femme Fatale is nice to supplement, plus is cute with Emergent Creativity. Speaking of, Paperclip and Black Orchestra are great Emergent Creativity fuel. These are supplemented by Multithreaders, which can also be burnt by Emergent Creativity.

The Turning Wheel is our multi-access and is necessary for this deck to succeed. This card is so good, and has won me many games. Running into an end the run ice on HQ is worth it if you are getting counters on this thing.

Interdiction is used to turn of currents and to disassemble upgrade remote servers.

Mad Dash is just all around good and is amazing with Find the Truth and Corporate Defector.

Mining Accident is used for early game pressure and to get some easy bad pub to make running easier.

Brain Chip is way too good to not put into any Adam deck.

Corporate Defector along with Find the Truth allows you to know almost every single card that goes into the corps hand, and is good with Mad Dash and RNG Key.

Dr. Lovegood is used to turn off directives that aren't necessary or to get drugs for free.

Hunting Grounds is a nice silver bullet against annoying ice like Data Loop or Komainu.

Scrubber is there for asset spam, and it isn't dead in other matchups. It is definitely necessary because we die to wide corps otherwise.
