Apex: Eater of Worlds - v1

ladybunne 107

The first of many Apex decks I'll end up making. Thanks to Eric from the Melbourne crew for getting me hooked on this wild trip of a faction.

Without further ado:

Notes

In case you were wondering, death is not an option. How are you going to kill a thousand-tentacle sentient nightmare, anyway?

There's plenty of things I'd love to put in here, but got severely hampered by influence limits.

Author's notes: buy Martial Law (Flashpoint), Station One (Red Sand) and Terminal Directive.

TODO: Find a way to recover from three Apocalypses (need recursion on Assimilator?)

Harbinger and Q-Coherence Chip have some pretty bad anti-synergy. As soon as you trash harbinger w/ anything Q-Coherence Chip dies. Just looking at the deck list do you really need that memory, all set up you have 4+1 from Heartbeat and Laamb uses 2 1 from Eater and then you can fit in 2 Reaver. Also do you really need System Seizure, Eater is a pretty efficient breaker, and Laamb is while expensive to pump Aesop's Apex has some good synergy and economy. Also The Shadow Net? Really? What are you going to forfeit? Domestic Sleepers? Project Kusanagi? Standoff? Also instead of Assimilator recursion just don't install more than one, at a time at most you'd need 1 more, Trope subbing out an Eater? Yeah its another mem but after 3 Apocs your deck is probably, not in your deck, so the Reavers can get Pawned

Might want to re-read Apex's ID: "You cannot install non-Virtual Resources"

Nevermind! I missed Assimilator on my first review (thought it was a program) - nice build.

@Jayjaxx Fair point on Q-Coherence, but even so, I can just Aesop it first. Seizure has huge potential to save lots of credits, which is crucial on Apocalypse turns. The Shadow Net is fine - losing an agenda is an acceptable price to pay for a potentially game-winning Apocalypse. Less than three Eaters is a poor choice.

@wedgeex ?
