I fly like paper, get high like planes!

This is my first published deck so far. I started with Netrunner in January 2017 - so bear that in mind that I'm relatively new to the game.

I'm also not trying to create the best deck ever™. Instead I'm focussing on story telling thematic decks for casual tournaments.

Leela Patel is my favorite runner - so I wanted to do a slumdog millionaire concept for the upcoming regionals in my hometown and here it is :

A poor but not so innocent little girl in a devasted and corporation controlled India. Always on the street and never at home. She gets in contact with the wrong people who do a lot of bad stuff until she was randomly selected to be a candidate on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". She magically happens to know all the right answers and wins it all!

Time to party and the chance to recruit some old friends from the good old days for her cause. One of them even works for the Bollywood industry. So now it's time to strike back and steal from the rich corporations which ruined the country and her family by enslavement and exploitation.

Not only are the corporations bankrupt now - they can't even recover because of all the scandals Leela uncovered. But destroying them didn't make India a great place to live in. It will take decades to bloom again.

While Leela managed to fulfill her credo, all that hard work exhausted her. She returns to her home town to live in peace and get back to her old strength. But after a couple of months new corporations came to India and the same things happened again. Leela couldn't take it anymore and took her life with her mothers dagger.

Rest in peace little slumdog princess! :'-(

Yeah, that's it. Have fun and #alwaysberunning!

P.S.: I also recommend playing this deck to music by M.I.A., Santigold or Azelia Banks - it definitely fits its theme.

Edit: An alternative would be + 2 Maxwell James, - 1 Paragon, - 1 Drive by.

Thanks a lot Mindmonkey!

After playing the deck four times it's pretty obvious that my breaker suite is too expensive and relies too heavily on credit kiting to be effective.

I managed to get a win against Skorpios at the regionals but got crushing defeats against MTI, Sportsmetal and ASA.

Mhh..
